YokoAri is too big. The last few times were mostly graduations (2009 Elder Club, 2010 EriJunLin, 2014 Sayumi) or milestones (°C-ute 2015).

Especially now with °C-ute not participating they wouldn't be able to fill it. You can of course make fewer seats available but I guess YokoAri is too expensive to do that.

I really appreciate your suggestions of using bigger venues, but unlike 48's groups, it seems fans don't really care about the name "Hello! Project". I mean MM, C-ute or even Angerme can have a performance at Yoko Arena fully filled with fans, but the whole H!P can't do that.

It's true. A lot of H!p fans are really fans of a particular group and don't care much about the others. It's less common to have people who are fans of hello project as a whole. It always bothered me at h!p concerts the number of people who were clearly there for just one group or two and would sit down and look bored when the other groups were performing.

Yeah, I've heard of that as well. Maybe they could fill YokoAri if they did a big H!P reunion, with every member that ever was part of it (or at least most of them). Like from Heike Michiyo to the newest KSS. That'd be a once in a lifetime concert though.

^ The first countdown live was like that. They had Melon Kinenbi, Taiyou to Ciscomoon, Heike, OG Momusu, Maeda Yuki... it was amazing (I was able to see it live broadcast in a theatre!). They performed at Nakano Sun Plaza though, not Yokohama Arena.

People always think about size and ask for Yokohama Arena but Nakano Sun Plaza is so popular because of it's superior acoustics.

The other big problem is it's not as simple as doing the calculation, 10 Nakano concerts will equal say 20-25,000 capacity attendance for an arena concert etc. The hardcore wota attend all of the Nakano shows, so changing things has the potential of throwing money away. The thing that can work is doing H!P wide events outside of the normal concert tours, so I'd look to something like Hinafest. Maybe if they continue to do well they could move the concert venue from Pacifico to YokoAri and still keep the Satoyama events at Pacifico? though it's probably cheaper for them to just get the whole venue for those.

^ Had to think about it lol... final tour date on 2/25... NicoNico "live video" on 2/26... XD

So it's not a live viewing, but rather a recording of the final live.

~~~
Gonna be a good schedule though...
@Obsidian
The only restriction I'm seeing is about the second half of each live being available only to Premium members. I'm not in Japan but I registered on nico nico a long time ago, so I'm assuming anyone can make an account and at least watch the first half.
~edit~
Logged in to see payment options for Premium membership... looks like paypal is an option...soooo, gonna try lol.
I'm logged in too but it simply gives me a not available in your region message and bounces me to the front end, I don't even get any payment options or even see the event details.
I love how Mizuki sounds in Oh My Wish, I am happy they swapped her out of the dance team.
Question: Ayacho was saying that this Hello! Con was the first for her as leader, but I'm a little confused. I thought Maimi held the title until June, and then Ayacho gets the baton...
I find the way they've done it strange if it's already been passed over.
^I think shes just like acting H!P leader because C-ute isn't taking part in the concert and theres no use in giving it to Momoko
