I know this is every year now so I should be used to the shock, but it's still feels so weird seeing "Morning Musume '17" on that list cuz I've gotten used to '16 lol.

And it's also sad that there's not C-ute either gonna be the first time in a long time. I still find it odd that they're sitting this one out. I feel like they should've done this last one.

Maybe beacuse they have their own concerts at that time:

• ℃-ute Shinshun Concert 2017 ~℃OMPASS~ (January 5 - January 9)
• Naruchika 2017 ℃-ute (January 22 - February 26)

And it does make sense. This way ℃-ute fans can enjoy shows featuring ℃-ute only, rather than having to see other H!P groups as well.

Yes it's a tour extension but happening alongside the H!P concerts. Two in Nakano in between the Harocon dates and similarly another two in Osaka when the tour moves there.

So that C-ute fans get more than a handful of track performances like they would if they were part of the H!P concert. Also these are extra tour dates so potentially they'll make more money over the same period of time.

When they announced the disbandment they told they wouldn't be participating in this Hello!Project Concert

It's happened with C-ute before.

 

Off the top of my head their Shinseinaru Pentagram concert tour had dates added late in the tour because it was selling out so fast. I want to say there was a month or two gap between the last original concert date and the added last date because it bumped into the Hello! Project Winter tour. I think even the original end date was AFTER the Hello! Project Winter Concert started.
