Seeing the billboard sales number and over thinking the changes in orison sales counting I'm ok with the (poor) number. Maybe many factors were bad in the release: Manakan left, a cover included and the change in the counting system...

I must say the only thing I hate is how short the songs of Country Girls are (like both songs of this single and the last release…)

IMO the Oricon's new rules shouldnt have affected their sales that much. A person I talked with said that the rules were against enka acts more than idols.

I think the low sales are in result of losing their 2nd most popular member and keeping up with the retro style. I personally thought it's kinda boring to have only retro songs.

But the Billboard sales are only 3k lower than their previous single.

Hm, maybe. But I doubt that the actual drop was that big. Namida no Request was well recieved due to it being a cover of a famous song and Manaka alone, with all love, couldn't have caused such a drop.

Isnt Oricon becoming unaccurate this way? They changed the countimg system so much that at this point they dont show how much copies the singles have actually sold.

By the way, the Namida no Request pv was playing on the video screens at Tanukikoji (shopping arcade in Sapporo) when I was there on Sunday

^^ I think they release dance shots  only for double A-side singles, and not for triple A-side singles (and it has been a while since any double A-side single has been released)
