Seems like she wanted to be at the top of her game for the fan-mail.  Or maybe she just wanted to re-affirm that Juice=Juice wasn't the only group that could go for Sexy=Sexy.    She probably just saw herself on the monitor between segments and decided to do a touch-up.

It's possible that for some reason they filmed a makeup segment in between, instead of after her filming as host. Is upfront always logical?

 

I personally didn't noticed when I watched, but seeing the side by side, it looks to me like she didn't have any makeup on in the first picture.
