Edit: I'm not sure if it's just how she is or if she hasn't loosened up yet (or both), but I feel like I'm watching a kid read her report aloud for the whole class whenever Mei talks for a long chunk of time.

I've been seeing lots of love for Meipan after the live viewings for the concert finale last night. More people are getting to see the 15ki perform for the first time and they're doing a fine job of impressing everyone.

It really is impressive how well they've already taken to performing. Aside from 13th and 14th, they seem like the least awkward generation in terms of their first concert tour (since I've been following the group).

 

And I'm all for Mei having pigtails/buns/panda puffs for a while. I love it.

She shines when she's on stage, I was surprised how much I was watching her during the Yoyogi concert video. This seems like a really strong generation, I could make a good argument for any of the three being my favorite.

Some of the wota had been posting horrible comments about her and were purposely ignoring her during the 68th Single ZDA handshake events this past weekend. Considering how she was teamed up with Eripon and Miki it was especially ignorant of the wota to treat Mei-chan this way since Eripon herself had to deal with being purposely ignored at handshake events in the past, so they should know better and not be treating other members (including new members like Mei-chan) this way

Oh my, that's awful!! But why did the fans do this? What did Mei do? I mean, nothing she could have done would excuse this, but just to know what, in the minds of the wotas, was responsible for causing this.

Some people are just idiots, no other way about it. From what I saw in passing (very much in passing, I didn't pursue it further), it was apparently just one or two people and not something widespread among the crowd.
