More about Mei thanks to Maachan and Yokoyan on Morning Jogakuin.

Mei would like to try wearing makeup but she doesn’t know how to apply it.
She’s done English and also cheerleading since she was young.
Maachan refers to her as Panda-chan or Panmei and says she’s a mysterious girl.
Mei was scared of Ayumi and Erina initially but has discovered they’re both very friendly.
Maachan tells Mei that Ayumi would probably like to help her kohai, says she’s better off going to Ayumi, Fukumura, Oda then Yokoyan for advice and to avoid asking Maa.
A letter asks how Maa feels about her kohai, reminding her of how she used to cling to her senpai, and Yokoyan discovers that both Mei AND Maa have shaking hands due to nerves. (Maa says this has improved since 12ki joined though) Maachan is nervous around Mei for some reason, was able to relax around Rio (On-chan) because Rio was smiling throughout their train journey while she spoke to the manager.
Maa also points out that her and Mei have totally different personalities - Maa did introverted things piano/music because she was told to whereas Mei did extroverted things like English and cheerleading, which could be why Maa is nervous of Mei.

Okay, how come nobody talk about Mei center in the new group pic? 

Also, her outfit suits her really well! And that smile is just precious.

I know all three 15ki are center, but Mei's the center of that center! I didn't expect her to be. On this forum, Rio's and Homare's threads get a lot more recognition.

 

Do we know if Mei-chan is popular with Japanese wota?

I wanted to comment about her being the center, but I didn't want to double post lol She's adorable and slowly she's becoming my favorite of the new generation. I really hope she gets a good solo line in the first or last part of whatever song is her debut single ♥

Mei has the Funaki gap, where the size of the voice and the size of the person don't match.  I hope that never changes.
