Exactly as the thread title states this is a thread where users can come and vent about H!P and H!P related acts whenever necessary. The only thing I ask is that you be careful of your language to avoid a warning - or worse - a ban.

I really don't think morning musume will be as good as they were right when 6th gen joined. I miss that MM better songs more members that can sing and more lines for said members. Its just making me mad that they keep adding girls that are just cute but can't sing

I've been frustrated with MM as a whole ever since Sayu graduated. The group seems to have gone downhill a lot, Sayu was a strong force, that held the group together, or maybe the loss of Tsunku as the producer changed things. They don't get exciting songs, MVs, or really seem to have a concept. The EDM worked for a while, but its not as good now and with Riho gone, there really isn't a point to the formation dancing. The members that they do have left just seem to be there. Sakura and Mizuki get all the lines, which makes sense since they are the best the group has to offer. However, the lack of attention 12ki is given doesn't make them better and they just feel like deadweight. 13ki is either going to make me start paying more attention to the group again, or I'm just going to stop, I have other non H!P groups that do more, especially for international fans.
J=J frustrates me as well, and I haven't really cared for them since Aina left. I also seem to like all the songs that people dislike (such as Wonderful World) although the most recent single actually sounds good. I do like some of the girls in the group, but there's just something about them that feels... empty. And it's not just me, I've talked to other people that agree.
CG is doing well, they did lose a prominent member early on, but judging that, they haven't lost their momentum and have released some cool stuff. They could be better, but things could be a lot worse.
I have more to say, but I'll leave it at this for now.

I had a hard time deciding if I should post this here or in the unpopular opinions thread as even though it's likely a very unpopular opinion it's not like I want to incite a fan-war. People here at hello online talk about 9th-12th gen like most of them have grand scale talent and all I can think is "do you people not have ears and eyes or something?" I could strangle so many of you right now it's not even funny. None of the 9th-12th gen are anything special performer wise at all. Even their very best singers and dancers are average at best. And then there's the folks who label them as better than some of the 1st-8th gen girls. Are you bloody kidding me people? I've not seen a case of blinders on this severe in a long time. Suffice to say I can't expect them to be as great as the 1st-8th gen girls without the proper training or an extra long membership under their belt, but honestly even with training and time I doubt the 9th-12th gen could be better than anyone from gens 1-8 in terms of the whole package. As far as a full package idol the 9th-12th gen are lacking in so many ways.
-sigh- The worst part is it's not just them, but the present day Hello! Project as a whole. The only one among them who could be a full blown future solo superstar is Suzuki Airi. I mean sure there's Oda Sakura to consider, but if I really get down to it she's got nothing going for her outside her voice that's extraordinary. She's that girl who could compete on The Voice and win because no-one could deny she's the best competitor there, but when her career launched she would see success in the range of becoming a one hit wonder because of the world being all hyped up about the winner of The Voice season X/Y/Z starting her career and then people would realize she's not all that special and she'd tank and disappear into the music history books of failed solo careers, or worse yet her releases wouldn't sell or chart well from the very get go because a voice is all she really is besides a pretty face.
