[Pyo-Kiyo]

On July 16, 2016 it was announced through the Hello! Project website that seven girls were selected to join "Hello Pro Kenshuusei Hokkaido" (possible winners of the Hello! Project "Hokkaido Gentei" Member Audition).
They will be introduced as the opening act at the Hello! Project 2016 Summer ~Sunshine Parade~ concert on July 30, 2016.
Similar to the main Hello Pro Kenshuusei program, the members will be aiming towards a debut in Hello! Project.

It's not necessarily a bad thing, chances are they will have their own fanbase in Hokkaido.

Maybe Bacho absence from her group with "sickness" was just the company excuse to put experienced "staff" in Hokkaido

With so many KSS right now, I don't know what to feel of this...

For one, trainees from Hokkaido do not need to up-root and move to Tokyo.

That was the main reason they had the H!P Eggs Kansai branch before too.

Yes but these are in Hokkaido! I hope we get H!P Hokkaido branch.

For one, trainees from Hokkaido do not need to up-root and move to Tokyo.

That was the main reason they had the H!P Eggs Kansai branch before too.

I think that's just one of the few things I could think that would merit a Hokkaido KSS. I hope H!P though would make a full-fledged Hokkaido based group, at least, to the level similar to that of a Gotochi Idol or probably something similar to the AKB sister groups.

BTW what happened to other similar efforts by H!P in the past?

Wow something actually came from that audition  .  I don't know how to feel about all of these new members though.

What's that? A smart idea from H!P management? Hold the presses! If they expand the idea of having localized trainees with regular shows they could really build up some useful talent and expand their fanbase.

It's an interesting moves by management. I'm quite sure they conducted "Hokkaido Audition" with "hidden purpose" that probably we never know.

Hokkaido's members hold essential part of the history in entire hello project. Most all of the members from Hokkaido are top-class (you name it, from Nacchi era into Masaki & Manaka in present time).

I guess this new member (7-nin) will be part of local group or local trainee. But they will have the chance to (major) debut anytime
