Senbatsu turned out really nice. I had a small bit of hope from the prelims that Mayuyu could beat Sashi, but alas it was not meant to be.

Actually this year is a flop for SKE compared to their ranks last year IMO.
HKT dominated this election
AKB did actually, they got the group stage with (i think) 28 members ranking, HKT had (again i think) 19.
EDIT: first post updated with final results in spoiler

Team E = 7 members
• NMB48 = 11 members
Team N = 5 members
Team M = 4 members
Team BII = 2 members

It's obvious wishful thinking, but I really hope management looks at the results and translates it into how they position the members within their teams and groups. I know that the elections isn't the only factor for deciding who is placed in what position, but the jumps in rank (and drops) as well as the vote increase and decrease for certain members must say something to them.
My only two upsets for this year was Tano and NMB not reaching 15 members ranked in.

Sashihara won by a landslide, sick. The difference between Jurina and Sayanee, though Now I can't wait until next year, I want them to become real contenders for the first and second spot.
Congratulations to Mion and Naachan for their amazing progress!
Also, major props to Komiyama Haruka for going from not ranking to #21!

myao, after all those pushes still only manage to break in the rank.
katomina as new face, come in ranking. Yeah.
sashi will reign forever.
nakai rika of NGT is the showroom number one.
SKE actually not bad, they have 2 in the kami 7.

Tano not ranking is in a way not a surprise. Poor girl.

I'm wondering if not for her scandal, could Yuki have beaten Mayu?

I could cry with the senbatsu this year
I'm personally really happy that Motomura Aoi ranked higher, and even though Miyamae Ami is graduating, and her rank went down, she's a center of a song. Still happy
And Sasshi she is killing me lol. Now we can finally say that a Japanese 48G member got it 2 years in a row. (JKT had it first with Jessica Veranda )
I have many more things to ramble about but I can only write this now lol
" ’15 has become a completely new Morning Musume。, but I want to treat the history that has been handed down to us preciously. If there was a book about Morning Musume。’s history, I think I would be happy to see my name left there."

"Masaki loves all music made by Tsunku-san. Every single note and word stabs me right in my soul! I mean it in a good way!" (translated by Ronin - thanks!)

I have never tasted defeat until today ..
and I must say .. it is alright .. I will get her there next year ..
I guess it is a good feeling that I had no regret and tried my best for her ..
Now .. even though I spend good money and voted .. and she didn't get her name called ..
Defeat ain't as bad as I thought it would be .. I guess it is important to vote for the one you like most .. no matter her chances ..

I guess you could just say, Sasshi is the first 48g member to get a consecutive win in the AKB48G elections, but Jessica is the first 48g member to have a consecutive win.

lets say .. SKE48 or NMB48 had their group level election for years .. we know which will be the 2 from each group who will be the only players for the top 2 position ..
So we would get consecutive winner long ago .. like in request hour for years ..
There actually ain't much of a challenge at group level .. since like NMB48 and SKE48 didn't even get a member in the top 7 until recent time ..
It is just different level .. it like saying the repeat winner of a lower division competition is the same as the repeat winner at highest level of competition ..

I'd say I'm overall happy with the election! Sad Shiichan didn't rank but i hadn't entirely expected her to. They stuck in senbatsu and then kinda... didn't do anything with her.
Miku ranked So glad to see akb new gen finally hitting those senbatsu numbers!(although I'm sure partly helped by ske members dropping out...) And Dasu! YUS my girl!
Komiharu kind of came out of nowhere to 21, I guess a bit like Tani Marika last year.
I'm very excited for this single.
When's the news about Team H winning the team numbers, new stage guuuyyys

^ Pretty sure Komiharu is here to stay!
I'm curious why Rara didn't rank after all the push she got in SKE, basically got Rena's position. I'm surprised Tano didn't rank.
Overall I'm happy for Team 4 and very sad for Miorin. Who dropped her character to be herself and didn't rank.

The new stage goes to the group with most girls ranking in, not the team.
Internet killed common sense.

^ oh .. i didn't know about that ..
As usual .. dumb dumb SKE48 fans .. SKE48 could have won it if they haven't overkill on Akarin ..
