the website hasn't closed yet so there is a chance some members will still participate.. but i won't get my hopes up lol

As far as I know, Kojiharu did apply. But as Nyannyan Kamen, with details like how she's born 2222/2/2, etc. Perhaps it was all a joke and she does not intend to participate, or management did not allow it.

Paruru not participating is kind of interesting, but Sayanee not participating is huge and rather surprising. Also disappointing to not see Yuirii, Kyappu, or Rabutan (who said those who wanted to vote for her, should instead vote for an HKT48 girl, which is nice).

And Annin is participating this year, instead of opting out.

I am following and chatting with my friend .. and seem the news is chaotic ..with false news all over .. and the update is slow ..
Seem the latest is Paruru and Sayanee is in ..
I think we should react when the dust settle .. all this suspense is killing me

that has to be the longest hour of my life lol. good to see my favorites in. with sayanee, rie and paruru in that means there is 1 kami 7 spot open and 5 senbatsu spots open (there was 4 spots open last year and the year before). There are 17 new spaces this year, so we'll probably be seeing some new/returning members this year. 

edit: it's officially closed, but i'll wait a few more hours until i update the first post.

Its exciting to see how many senbatsu and UG from the last year SSK is not taking part this year ..
it gives hope for an advance in position if your oshimen is fighting for the senbatsu spot ..
For me, I am going for Rara so its just a spot will do .. hopefully it is easier .. but still got to fight it out for her ..
This year even Aamin is not taking part .. so I can be at ease and do my thing ..

As I said before .. I love the fight of SSK .. and after a talk with my friend .. I have decided to try to go for the result announcement and concert for this ..
But the first thing is to win the ticket .. if it is lost then all plans are off ..
I guess my love for 48G goes down because of my short of exposure to them but after my 2shot event, I am surprise how at home I am with them, it feels like coming home.
I am talking to fans I ran into and fans I dunno but chatting up with them, the staff are helpful and friendly .. and the idols are love
So I am going to make a full effort to come back ..
Hope it work out and I can go for the concert and result show .. wish me luck

There's a mix of members who could potentially announce graduation, as well as have other reasons.

 

"I don't like the election." is one.

Then there's Rabutan's "Vote for other HKT members instead", and yet other still could have academic reasons, or are part of a play or drama (who knows) or yeah, have simply graduated already by the time of election.

Ya, lot of members in 48G. Make it hard to raise to the very top. I read also a rumour about somebody on team 4 would like to transfer to JKT. it was been speculated as her.
