Unpopular opinion:

I don't like any song from this single... Maybe Team N's song, but not enough to have it on my phone. I hate it when NMB does generic music.

With SKE48's recently very low sales, HKT48's "not that bad" sales (they have lower sales in general due to being the latest group), and now with NMB48's terrible sales, either there's a significant drop in popularity (maybe fans didn't really like the content of the single...) or everybody are saving money for the election. 

 

Speaking of which, the Chinese fans have been saving for a long time, and I saw a post about factions collecting money for votes to various girls, like Mayuyu, Jurina, Sasshii, Sayanee, etc. etc. and perhaps the Japanese fans are doing the same...

well .. we got see the AKB48 single sales to know that ..
But we got to note that AKB48 voting singles has always range at 1.8 million even during the time when SKE48 and NMB48 are doing 400K kind of sales ..
I would think it is more of the 46 groups and other idols competing away their sales and a drop in interest of the sister groups ..

The thing is .. we are not robots .. it is not like if I have budget of like $300 to spend on idols and I put $100 on NMB48 and $200 on AKB48 ..
and when I lost interest in NMB48 and put $50 on them .. I will put that extra $50 on something ..because I had to spend all my budget ..
So it should be quite evident that if AKB48 sales don't go up to 2 million .. it is not about saving but fan losing interest and/or competition ..

Simply put, if AKB's election single doesn't break at least 1.5 million sales on the first day, it would indicate the decline of 48G. If the single breaks 2million on the first day, then we know where all the sister group sales went too.

Day 2 at #1 with 17,659, and total of 188,101 so far.

AKB48 upcoming single's sales can give us the final answer if 48 groups are really losing popularity.

Maybe not losing popularity, but people losing interest in them. Let's wait for the ssk voting single!
