I'm glad that people started to ship IshiDuu and let go of MaaDuu, and then Maa confirming further that MaaDuu has sunk.

Masaki's clearly upset about it though so I don't really see it as something to be happy about. I don't like Maa-chan that much but geez, some of y'all are way too harsh on the girl.

as bummed as i am about the mvs being short, im really happy that the 3 new angerme mvs are super creative and arent just close up shots and dance shots in a warehouse like some other recent mvs

but heres an opinion. When you take away the 20th anniversary aspect of Duu's grad, Zukki's grad was much more interesting.

I felt differently. Kanon's grad felt really underwhelming and the focus on Kanon was meh. Compared to Meimi's grad at the same time it didn't feel grand tbh. Here the setlist has too many mellow songs but I felt Haruka was everywhere and there was this ~she is the graduate~ member vibe.

Duu's grad literally had the aura of a graduation concert, i didn't feel that with Zukki's at all. I can understand not having enough time to prepare Riho's grad concert since it was so last minute, but they had time to give Zukki a grand exit and it just felt like "awww see you later" whereas Duu's felt like "we are NEVER..........N.E.V.E.R going to see THIS GIRL, THIS GIRL OVER HERE, EVER AGAIN" lmao

Gotta agree tbh, they way she's reacting to her relationship with Duu is something i see others around me do a lot when they're in the same situation, but since maachan has trouble expressing herself she either sounds dramatic or indifferent which makes the situation look bigger than it probably is (Maachan's blog post seemed like a break up letter to duu, but i'm 100% certain it's not that deep lmao).

Haruka's graduation took so long from the time it was actually announced that I had stopped caring by the time it actually happened. I was like 'welp cool SEE YA'. Especially since the actual grad single came out months ago. The Budokan in November felt more like the end of the tour than Haruka's grad did.

UO: 15 Thank you, too has a storyline behind it.

Excluding the A-sides, Ai no Tane and JKM, I think that 15 Thank you, too tells a story of growing up and falling in love with someone for the first time.

Seishun Say A-HA, Watashi no Nanni mo Wakacchanai, Mou Gaman Dekinai wa ~ I Love Ice Cream ~, CHO DAI and Narcissus all seem to focus on a young girl (approximately high school age) who has to face the harshness of reality and realize that the world isn't centered aroung her. Mou Gaman Dekinai wa ~ I Love Cream ~ seems like a song that would fit a first year high schooler. It's just a fun little song, but the girl portrayed in the song is becoming increasingly impatient as she pretty much only wants ice cream. Seishun Say A-HA focuses on the small pleasures that youth can give, such as, not facing as many hardships and thinking that you have everything under control already. Watashi no Nanni mo Wakacchanai focuses more on what growing up is like for teenage girls especially, thinking of themselves more as a unique individual and being willing to do pretty much anything to be able to stand out from the crowd. CHO DAI is being a bit more demanding and wanting to be noticed for the simple things you do; CHO DAI adds a lot more characterization to the story line as well, as it seems as if the girl is trying to explain everything she wants to be and how the wants to stand out ("Hikari, Uruoi,Sugoi,Mirai") and the repetitiveness adds to her persistence to not want to fall into the background of anyone. Then there's Narcissus: A girl who has a hard time thinking of anyone else but themselves, and wanting the attention on them constantly. It seems as if, in this song, the girl is started to pay more close attention to her appearance, cleaning herself up and making drastic changes to herself to appeal as "cuter" to others. She seems to want one person's attention in particular, and isn't willing to give up.

Then that brings us to Style of My Love. I think this song (even though it comes earlier in the tracklist) is a good continuation to Narcissus. In Style of My Love, it seems as if the main girl is trying desperately hard to get someone's attention, to the point where it's driving her crazy with jealousy. She doesn't want to reveal her true self to the person as she seems to want them to keep chasing after her for attention, so it becomes a little love game. Romance ni Mezameru Mousou Joshi no Uta focuses on the girl maturing a bit, and trying to find the true meaning of romance. The person she's chasing after is slowly beginning to lose her attention as she wants a more "serious" relationship, which leads her to question what she really wants in a relationship. Koi wa Toki ni seems to tell the story of the girl continuing to fall out of love with him, to the point where she doesn't exactly feel satisfied anymore in the relationship. She realizes that she has to do what's best for her, and that it's a lot easier to love someone from afar and to go separate ways.

Pretty much, as we go through this album, we're watching a teenage girl mature through life and end her first true love. We watched the girl go from raving about her love of ice cream and being annoyed that she doesn't have immediate acces to it, to a girl realizing that she's holding herself back from her dreams. Much like how we watch Haruka mature through Morning Musume since 2011, and decide to go on her own path once she realized that being an idol didn't bring her satisfaction anymore. Tsunku really made a great album.

If anything, it'd be nice if the album was ordered:
1.) Mou Gaman Dekinai wa ~ I Love Ice Cream~

5.) Narcissus
6.) Style of my Love

UO: I understand the Maopin hype, but I just watched a few dance shots from TF and I think Riko is the best dancer in the group and the most underrated dancer in HP.

I actually think Riko was an okay dancer when TF started but right now I think everyone has surpassed her in almost everything and her dancing is nothing special. I don't know which is the UO though but I don't think she is in the top 3 of dancers in TF.

^I've gotta agree lol.. I followed TF because Riko was a KSS i was rooting for to debut, but since she's joined, While she has improved, I think everyone else has improved and surpassed her skills and entertainment level welp.

Here's an UO about TF: After seeing the live where KSS and TF performed Ambitious! Yashiteki de Ii Jan switching the performes in the middle, I can't help but notice how, uh, not-good they are. Especially their dancing is all over the place, I noticed at least 2 members constantly doing some movements completely wrong and the dancing seemed overall very weak. The KSS definitely outperformed them. Their singing's getting much better though so I'm glad they're making progress.

 

Also another one I'm putting under spoiler cos it's both UO and maybe controversial opinion to have? Idk you've been warned anyway.

There are quite a few members currently in MM who I don't find that pretty. I'm not saying ugly either, but either very plain or just somewhat meh looking. That combined with their declining singing overall has made me lose interest in them this year. I became a fan when Hyokkori Hyoutanjima came out so I do feel kinda bad about it :/

UO: Dorito is actually the weakest of all Momochi successors. Every other CGs member would have been a better addition to strengthen MM's overall variety skills.
