Just because she looks similar to Maria doesn't mean she'll act similar to her. Honestly, just from the few clips shown Sakiko seems more eye catching and a lot more skilled at basic idol qualities.

Maybe that's why she interests me the most  ...even though I think she looks more like Maria/Kishimon than Reirei ... we haven't seen their idol transformation yet. This could bring some major difference in appearance  ... just look at Yanami's first interview (not the introduction one but the shindan test comments one).

Well it's the same kanji for her name, and it's not a fantastically popular surname...so we can't completely refute the idea.

児玉 咲子 Sakiko
児玉 雨子 Ameko

which also sometimes parent use this pattern for naming their kids
I know 10 years difference between them is quite far, but still acceptable

^ Wikipedia tells me Ameko is from Kanagawa prefecture, while that Idol Street audition video says Sakiko is from Mie prefecture. I don't think they're related.

 

I'm really hype about Sakiko!!! She looks so adorable in that pic with Kisora (especially her EYES) and I love her voice from what I've heard in those performance videos ; 3; looking forward to seeing more of her!!

I think she fail the 8th gen Streetset audition ..
LOL .. I am into idol street too .. my fav idol of all idols is Maria but my fav group of all groups is GEM and every member of GEM is fav/oshi level to me ..
But I follow streetsei worse than I follow H!P KSS .. and I really know nuts about H!P KSS so i suck even worse at streetsei

I guess i can favor her a bit ..
As I like her look and she was from DELUXE COLORS!
I got 2 fav/oshi who were from DELUXE COLORS! (Chiyuri from Syachi and Kako from GEM)
and she sort of make me think of .. UUG Sato Ayano who is my fav for UUG (for once I made a UUG reference )

Didn't Rei and Rikako do a shoot a while ago wearing the same clothes? Maybe someone can photoshop her in to see similarities lol.

Anyways I'm rooting for this girl. She's super cute.
