Agree, but I already have a ticket so I'm going to have to receive a pretty good invite to something else to make me not go. At the very least, I think Smile Garden is fun at night. Last year was only really a nightmare when I was standing in the sun watching idols I don't care about. I'll just spend more time in Diver City this time around.

Anyway turns out they've been added to the Shinjuku Loft event on the 1st with Maison book girl and others. So I'll be seeing them there too.

I have a hotel room reserved in Tokyo for 10 days covering that week with that Loft show pencilled in for that evening, but the flights are expensive so chances of me making the trip over are not high.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I have never gotten on the Pour Lui train. Her voice is mediocre and this move feels like it's going to cheapen the group into gimmicks it doesn't need.

She's the reason any of the WACK groups exists in the first place.

 

And her voice is fairly good - better than Nonchan anyway.

 

I don't think they will join the WACK circus though.

Nonchan doesn’t have the best voice but it’s perfect for backup vocals. If you watch any BiS or Billie Idle live video she’s doing all the backup vocals, harmonising while staying in the background, supporting the other members voices while ceding the spotlight to them. And dancing at the same time! Reminds me of the line about how Ginger Rogers had to do the same dance moves as Fred Astaire, but backwards and in heels.

All the clues were there right under our noses. I'm actually up for this move. I always liked Lui-chan's vocals even on her solo songs before BiS and I love Momo's voice so it's cool with me.

My claim wasn't to shit on Nonchan at all, just the to counter ridiculous claim that Pour Lui doesn't have a good voice and the general hostilities in Lurkettes post.
