After Yuka's and Ayaka's graduations (significantly Yuka's), all of the H!P groups are currently led by members who are once a H!P Kenshuusei.

 

MM - Mizuki

Angerme - Akari

J=J - Tomoko

CG - Risa (not officially announced)

KF - Ayaka

TF - Riko

B - Reina / Kurumi (taking their leadership positions in the sub-units as there is no confirmation of who is the leader)

Ayapan wasn't a H!P KSS she was a NGP KSS.

She was very briefly a H!P KSS between the end of NGP and the formation of Kobushi, I think for just a couple of months

And Juice=Juice is the only group to have members that have all been made up of KSS, aside from Yuka. I wonder if they’ll continue with this and not have any auditions for Juice, but rather management just pick from the KSS every now and again? Would balance out nicely with Momusu and Anju having both KSS and non-KSS girls.

^It would be a nice dynamic if JJ gained members only from KSS, Angerme was a mix, and MM brought in exclusively auditionees for the next few generations. It would actually give reason for all three of them to be rotational groups.

^That would be good. But rn it seems more like MM is for the average girls, Angerme for the crazy girls and Ju=Ju for the most talented.

^^ Yes — I think each group having their own way of adding members is the best way to really make them less same-y.

But I suppose if they get talented girls in MM auditions or Anju auditions that would better fit Juice (or anju in the case of mm auditions) once they’ve been polished a bit, they can just do what they already do and put them in the KSS for a while. Then they’re still replenishing their KSS stalk while also getting new girls that aren’t KSS into these two groups. MM used to be exclusively regular girls, that was kind of the whole point? That even regular girls could become a Musume, even if they’re not extremely talented. MM’s lost that over the last five years, since they now add more KSS than regular girls.

^ Agreed, except that somehow, the talent level hasn't gone up. It's like "we're MM, any girl can join us, so long as your parents are will to pay for our companies training program and drive you to Tokyo for a couple of years".
