I'm hoping with next year being their big 20th anniversary, MM will be getting more of a push... I've really been bored out of my mind with H!P and going so long between promoting can't be good in Japan either.

Still in the rumour stage but should hopefully be confirmed very soon, 11/16 is the supposed release date for MM's next single.

if that is so, I'd rather have MM release on the not easy weeks.
even if akb or bigger artists would likely take no. 1 it's more exciting
maybe they could take no. 2, and who knows, people who buys akb cds at stores or people who checks oricon might see them and check MM, too
well, something like that, it's like purposely shooting arrows without aiming

Judging by their concert schedule they could release the Nov 16th, they don't have a concert that weekend, where they can do a ZDA (or ZA).

^True, that being said (and the fact ANGERME announced their single):

Kobushi Factory NEEDS to release a single in May. It will be 10 months already!
We got an album in November and soundtrack in March, however, the 4th single is overdue.

What's overdue is Angerme's third album. They haven't released one since they changed the group and their last one was in spring 2013.

 

Angerme's album will be interesting as they've never done albums the way the other H!P groups have, and I guess that's more because they weren't managed the same. For their first album (December 2010), the album included their 4 indies singles and their first three singles that were released that year. After that, their second album (May 2013) included Suki yo, Samui ne, and Tabidachi, leaving out everything from Shortcut - Dot Bikini (so 7 songs/singles. But that's alright, because they released their first best album one year before their second original album (May 2012), which included those 7 songs (probably because they knew they weren't releasing an album any time that year and were going to need to put these songs somewhere).

 

And now, we have everything from Atarashii up to Aa Susukino that hasn't been released (so that's 8 songs), aside from a few that made it onto the selection album in November 2015. As the first two Angerme singles made it onto that selection album, that leaves everything from Desugita - this current upcoming single (12 songs) left without an album release.

 

So I suppose they'll stick all those Angereme tracks on one disc (and probably just forget about the S/mileage ones), and have original album tracks on the second disc. Although honestly, I miss the yearly or bi-yearly album releases, going 3 or so years without albums for some groups just seems silly... Although I suppose if all original tracks are great (like with Juice's and C-ute's latest albums), maybe it's not so bad... 

 

With all that said, I'm thinking it'll have a summer release. Hopefully. If they go another year without one it'll be ridiculous.

They've mentioned that they'll announce more details including costumes soon when the information ban has been lifted so I think they're possibly going to announce the 64th single and/or their 15th album soon

I had a dream several months back where I dreamed that the tracklist for the 15th album had been leaked or announced and it included a solo song for Sakura I was all excited and ready to share the news with everyone here until I woke up and realised I was dreaming

Why do you all want an album? The last one had what? 6 new songs? I'm more afraid my expectations would be too high at this point so they would be under no circumstances be able to satisfy them even if it would include some nice tracks. 
I mean wouldn't it be 90% a-sides at this point?

It would - if they don't push out a best-of as well. It'd be the best time for a best of to be honest. Just... get all these singles out of the way. If we get a banger like Wolf Boy with it, even better.
