Not sure, but she plans on remaining in the industry. Maybe whatever she wants to do next (because lbr, Koharu kind of just bounces from interest to interest lol) is something she feels UFP won't really be able to push her towards. Or maybe she's just being Koharu and wants a change of pace.

I recently saw the Morning Musume musical Morning Town and when I saw Asami Konno do this little number it totally dawned on me that Koharu was an Asami replacement. Well... at least that's what it seems to me in this ethnic song which reminds me of Koharu's "Balalaika".

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, Koharu was chosen because they were looking for someone who would do the voice of the cartoon character. She was forced to make her voice sound like that.
