There's a lot of similarities in the techniques of H!P's vocal trainers (teaching them to understand fully the mechanics of singing and to sing with the whole body).

 

Sugiura Yoshimi has worked a lot with H!P, also UUGs and lots of other Idols as well as for Anisong performers.

I like the hair and make up segment but I think it's too out of place in this program. They should put it in Hello! Station or The Girls Live.

This is a very interesting show but I'm not that tech savvy and to me most of it is boring but to my male uni mates, if they were interested in idols, they'd love this.

I think it fits, since Green Room focuses a lot more on the staff and what they do. It feels totally different that Hello!Station's hair arrangements. They would have to have the girl speaking to the camera the entire time to fit H!S's concept. I think it would be ok on The Girls Live if it's for a Girl's Live performance.

Although it's not the first time of Uemuu got coached by Sugai, I'm impressed that there is someone who can took Sugai's vocal course without shedding tears and even see it as a fun one

I couldn't stop laughing at the vocal lessons Sugai-sensei has. His techniques seem so extreme, but they work so well. Uemura sounds really good when she practices alot! Ganbatte Uemura!

 

It segment to make the DVD for MM's spring tour seemed so interesting. There were so many camera angles for the staff to choose from, but now that we know it's made, hopefully we don't have to wait until late August or hopefully it won't get delayed till September like the Evolution DVD did.

Quick question:

 

Sugai-sensei, the vocal coach, has he been actively working with H!P for years now or is he just returning? I ask because I know he was working with H!P years back, when 6th gen joined, but wasn't sure about after that and up til now.

 

What I do know, is that he has worked with the 48 groups for quite some time now, and it was just so funny seeing him in one of the first shows showing new members be coached by him. "Oh man it's him! This is gonna get fun..." And yeah, seeing him coach any girl anywhere is always awesome...

From what I've seen on one or two shows and behind the scenes, he's been working a lot with Juice=Juice for a while now not so much with other groups (they have been working with a female teacher).

 

He's a legend.
