Yeah. The staff always found cool way to promote them but they can’t handle a simple instagram account ? WTF ? They could at least post once or twice by week but the best we get is a story from time to time...

Broadly speaking:
People are worried about how closely "Idol hunters" follow, spot, and report reports that members of the "Idol Hunters" group have appeared at H!P events, in the wake of the NGT48 Yamaguchi Maho incident.

I saw someone on Twitter saying the guy was actually spotted at a Tsubaki's concert ! Just ban that guy UPF. Prove you're smarter than a certain compagny.

I only know about the NGT48 incident and the tweet you linked, which was that the newspaper picture was of a Tsubaki event, so the Tweet-Er was wondering/asking if that meant that somebody from the Hunter Group had been seen at a Tsubaki event.

Whether or not it was the particular individual implicated in Niigata, I don't know.

But looking again at the newspaper image, I think what I mistook as "the appearance of information" was "information about appearance." (editing above to be safe)

Yeah, it's mostly "idol hunters" as a group. Which is not particularly relieving. I don't have any claim to knowing/understanding that group, but it would be ZERO surprise to me if the guy who got Yamaguchi to retire was an inspiration and hero to other "hunters." So, whether or not it's that one guy... it still means that H!P management isn't being stricter than 46/48 management were.

Big, big yikes. From what I've heard about the Yamaguchi Maho attack the one popular dude behind that also hooked up with female idol fans and later tried to blackmail them (with pictures and videos). 

It's no secret that H!P's female fandom has grown in the last few years. I hope everybody will be safe...

Idol Hunters are the people who can't find the dividing line between an idol's professional life on stage, in handshake events, etc and their private life, in their home buying groceries etc. And have decided that both belong to the "fans."
So they stalk them after events and watch where they go, try to find their homes, etc.

Media reports say they get influence and popularity within their society by finding private information about idols and even more by engaging in non-work contact with them. (Talking to them, getting their phone number, etc.)

Also media reports said that they get a bunch of their money by selling information and stories to tabloids.
And all that said, AKS (& now it looks like H!P) won't restrict or push back against them, because they're big spenders. They buy lots of goods, go to lots of events, etc. (And if the story above is true, that's money they earned by stalking members so management would be indirectly earning money by allowing their members to be stalked in their private lives)

They are the worst of all possible imagined types of idol "fan."
