Last year Aanya ranked in. She had pretty much begged her fans to do anything they can to get her to rank. Which she then did. And then it was shown that she had violated the idol rule, even Tokyo curfew rule right before the election. Quite a lot of her fans were upset with that, people who had voted for her, and many said directly to her that they would oshihen. Some said that she would not rank in next year, i.e., this year.

 

So, here we are - and Aanya did not rank in this year.

 

 

I find it hard to believe stuff like [...]

or like if they decide to jump ship and vote someone else just because they find their oshimen tagline getting boring or she is getting annoying .. when the previous year they suffer like hell to vote for her ..

It does not work this way

It certainly works that way when we consider certain situations.

It is possible to jump ship and people can change their votes ..
but it is never for something that trivia ..

I have change my votes before too ..
I change to a newcomer whom I see as super important when I change from Aamin to Mizuho ..
and I have proven so as I technically gave up on 48group because of Mizuho .
I didn't change because like Aamin cut her hair or something .. right?

If you think about it .. those who think a certain member are getting boring or annoying probably don't think of her high enough to be voting for her in the first place ..
Obviously if like for scandal .. or something serious people can change ..
and people can change if they found another member to be so important that they have a change of heart ..
But definitely not because they change because another idol is funny or interesting for the moment..

Well, there are many fans who are very superficial. Take Sahhoo for example. She didn't rank in this year. She hasn't had any scandal, nor has she done anything "bad". But there was a thread on 2ch recently before the election, where they discussed why it seems her momentum has gone to a halt. Several of the posts mentioned her cutting her long wavy hair and getting a short cut instead was a really poor decision and wasn't good for her image... Now I don't know if a haircut qualifies as "serious" (let's ignore Miichan's haircut for this one, because that was bad) and I don't know if that's why she didn't rank in this year, but there are many fans who are more superficial than others, especially since these groups are super-popular and has a large following.

but actually i didn't state it ..
when someone drop .. it is more likely she lost her fans to couple of other idols who manage to "steal" her fans ..
But it happens .. if not ..up and coming members like Mion would never get a place .. (ps. I am happy Mion rank )
So more likely unless the case is so .. members drop not because they did something "bad" or perform "poorly" in certain areas ..
more likely .. other members did better ..

it is silly .. if you look at Aamin .. she lost her place ..
So what she did .. basically nothing wrong too except she cut her hair ..
So it is more unlikely that she lost votes because she cut her hair .. but more likely ..people voted for someone else they prefer more ..

ok .. I think this is the last on this topic on votes .. that's why I hate posting about idol or fan theory .. it can go on and on ..
and I need to sleep now ..

I found my concluding post on last year SSK ..
I would say things didn't turn out as I expected .. but the result of it is correct ..
I did vote for Sakura this year ..
I must say times fly .. this post is still so fresh in my mind and it a year ago ..

LOL .. I sure hope you guys are right .. because Mizuho had said her fav pic with another 48G idol is her pic with Paruru which she use as wall for her phone .. O.o

Anyway .. finished watching the video of election as I missed parts of it ..
Oh .. during Miyuki speech.. Riichan cried .. her tears just went off like its a drama but its for real ..

Anyway this election result changes something for me .. and I am already getting ready for next year ..lol
For election .. I still follow a certain guideline .. I will only vote for any of the Kami or oshimen of each 48G ..
I will only vote for AKB48 - Aamin, SKE48 - Mizuho, NMB48 - Riichan, HKT48 - Sakura
and I only put all my votes on 1 person .. I still do not believe in spreading my votes ..
Anyway .. its just me ..

This are the highest in importance idols for me in 48G .. and I thought I would never get a oshimen that can make senbatsu in election ..
I have said Sakura would make senbatsu this year .. but its a hopeful prediction ..
Sakura getting into senbatsu this year changes the game for me ..
For once I can vote for a oshimen who have a chance at senbatsu ..which I thought would never happen ..

So as of now .. next year .. it's everything on Sakura ..
but I can change my mind .. as we still got a whole year ahead ..
I guess I am still learning about this fandom thing .. I move from just die on 1 kami to purpose for my oshimen..

This year is to get Mizuho a place and up the stage the first time ..I hope this will solidify her place as senbatsu in SKE48 ..
So she can continue to get feature and this will grow more fans ..
Next year .. I see the purpose as of now is getting Sakura rank higher..

Dunno is it weird of me to think about next year already ... LOL

So this year .. I am going to do it again ..
For next year ..I only have 2 options ..

Vote for Sakura again and try to maintain her Kami 7 and try to get her further up the ranks ..
hopefully she would hit 100K votes next year ..

Vote for Hiwatashi Yui .. the new Team A Draft KKS ..
yes I am that serious about her .. I am still thinking about her and waiting for her start even though there has been nothing on her for quite some time ..
This is how I test if my love for her is real or it is just a hype of the moment ..
So I would vote for her next year .. if she does progress well and would be hopeful for a place ..

So we shall see then
