Da-iCE to release their 3rd studio album NEXT PHASE on 1/25 2017.

 

【Covers】

There will be 6 types; Limited A, B, and C (CD + DVD), and Da - iCE ver, Vocal ver, and Performer ver (CD only).

【Tracklist】

There are 11 songs on the album (3 single songs, Watch Out, Paradive, Koikokoro, and 8 new tracks). These 11 songs are for regular edition CD contents, but bonus tracks have additionally been recorded depending on the CD type. Track Order is still undecided.

Some updates on Da-ice! Sorry it's late, should have posted this on the 17th lol

 

If you didn't know, it was their 6th anniversary on the 17th! That was also the day of their Budokan!

Da-iCE NEXT PHASE (3rd Album) started off it's first day of release at #2 with 37,226 sales! 

 

AKB48's 'Thumbnail' was 1st with 565,840 copies sold, Suchmos 'The Kids' was 3rd with 30,093 copies sold. 

 

For comparison, EVERY SEASON sold 49,052 on the first day, so it's a 8k decrease, but still within their average range of sales (which is 28-38k, Every Season and Paradive were quite the anomalies lol)

Weekly rankings for NEXT PHASE! I'll update this post daily 

 

Day 1: #2 with 37,226 

Day 2: #7

Day 3: #17

Day 4: #17

Day 5: #10

Day 6: #9

Weekly: #4 with 46,858 copies sold! 

 

I'm going to estimate that Next Phase will sell around just over 40k in the first week 

 

Edit: And they have! 

In comparison to their last album EVERY SEASON, it ranked 2nd with 49,052 copies sold, so NEXT PHASE is about 3k lower. I'm a little worried that the group is starting to plateau. In 2014-15 we saw a steady increase with every release, but since the start of 2016 their last few sales numbers have been so similar.. Hopefully we will see another increase in sales this year but I feel like their limit might be at 60k copies (which is around what most artists sell, including AAA).

Da-iCE will be on Fuji TV series "Meccha 2 Ike !!" on Saturday 18th February 2017 19: 57 ~ 20: 54

They will be participating in a bunch of fun activites along side other popular boy groups XOX, BOYS AND MEN, and Bullet Train (Chōtokkyū).

Minaeshi, I want to thank you for creating this thread and keeping it updated. I am so happy to have found this group

 

I was listening to Da-iCE on shuffle and a familiar song started to play which I was singing along in my head, I decided to see what was playing because I am quite new to Da-iCE so I found it strange that I knew one of their songs so well already... it turns out they covered Matsuura Aya's 100 Kai no KISS on their single Koigokoro    What a nice surprise!

Da-iCE will be releasing their LIVE DVD & Blu-ray「Da-iCE HALL TOUR 2016 -PHASE 5- FINAL in BUDOUKAN」DVD on the same day as their single, 6/14 

 

personally, i don't like it when they do this because it divides the sales that could all be spent on the single. if they release the dvd a bit later, more people will be able to buy it (because they can afford it) and da-ice wouldn't have months where we're dying for activity lol.
