Inuyasha openings I think... I think they were dubbed in Romanian sometimes though, but still Japanese songs.
The first Japanese song you ever heard?

^^^^^ Same. The first Japanese song I heard was Inuyasha - Every heart. By Boa I believe. My sister was obsessed with anime and got me in to it. I'm glad she did lol

I'm not positive of this was the very first one I heard- but it would have to be Moonlight Densetsu from Sailor Moon. I know it was the first Japanese song translated into English that I heard, though I didn't know it because I was only 7 at the time lol. The first one that really opened the door to this amazing music was Momoiro Clover Z's song for the opening of Sailor Moon Crystal (Moon Pride). I heard that, fell in love with Momclo and have never looked back

It's hard to recall, but I don't really watch that much anime so I can safely assume that the first Japanese/J-Pop song I heard was Ookina Ai De Motenashite by Cute, and that was a few years ago. I was in the car one day and this German pop song actually came on and I really liked it, so when I got home I tried to look it up on the internet. Instead I found J-Pop, and I'm happy I did, Cute is my favorite band and I love all the Hello! Pro acts and idol is definitely my favorite genre of music. Still never found that German song though

My first japanese song was probably "Sobakasu" of Judy and Mary ( first rurouni kenshin opening ). All the others openings were dubbed to spanish. The first non-anime japanese song that i heard was, probably, "Kiss me good bye" by Angela Aki.

lol, same here. I was like 10yo, no internet at that time, so I asked my parents what language this is, but they didn't know . My grandpa, who had worked in Japan for some time and had become a huge Enka fan, finally told me more about traditional Japanese music.
So this was the 1st Japanese song I Iistened to

This one. I believe it's from DDR Konamix on the PS1. Loved the DDR series as a kid and all the J-music it had on it..now songs from H!P like Piriri to Yukou remind me of it.

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure the first Japanese song I ever heard was something by Puffy. Or maybe Nazo by Miho Komatsu.

^ that is amazing haha. It's definitely not the worst music video ever as it's titled.....lol so many confused people in the comments section >.< It's pretty ridiculous but hey at least it's catchy XDD and I've seen much worse. But hey, it could garner more H!P fans haha

It was more than likely "Ride on shooting star" by the pillows. Thank you, FLCL.
(also, first post here, hello all.)

While I'm not a 100% sure, mine might have been Asterisk by Orange Range, as Bleach was the first anime I watched in Japanese.
