In an announcement from Satoda Mai read out by Tsugunaga Momoko at today's Hello! Project concert in Sapporo, Country Girls major debut was announced for 3/25. More details to follow...

Aww, I was actually hoping their indies phase would last longer because it's such a precious time But this is actually a very good sign, looks like they have already established somewhat of a fanbase.

yeah, it was quick, but it's "H!P concert in Sapporo" afterall .... Country Girls' turf

if so, this will be their 5th indies, and their major debut will be their 8th Major lol

I hope Momo seal off the Momochi-musubi whenever she's with the Country Girls (just like in the profile pics or like in Buono)

 

I'm extremely in love with twintails, but I don't know why I hate Momochi-musubi so much

Questions for this:

 

1 - Will the indies be event-only?

 

2 - Will they be given some challenge for their indies single? (Like what they did before they debuted Morning Musume)

 

3 - No more "Produced by Tsunku" logo?

According to Momoko's blog, the single will be "Itooshikutte Gomen ne / Koi Dorobou", but sung by the 6 members !

カントリー・ガールズですが…
なんとっ
 
 
3月25日にメジャーデビューが
決定しました～
 
 
楽曲は今ハロープロジェクトの
ライブでも披露させていただいている
愛おしくてごめんね／恋泥棒
の両Ａ面シングルです
 
 
会場限定シングル発売予告やら
インディーズシングル発売予告やら
いろいろ予告していましたが
まさかのはじめからメジャーデビューです
 
グループ結成発表をしたのが
昨年の11月だったので、
正直、いきなり展開すぎて
頭がまだついていきませんが、
嬉しい気持ちでいっぱいです
 
これからどんなグループになるのか
ワクワクしています
ももちはプレイングマネージャーなので
ももち色を出しすぎず
でもなんだかんだ一番目立てるよう（笑）
楽しいグループにしていきたいです
 
（なにもやらなくても可愛さで
    結果目立っちゃうんですけどね）
 
スーパーバイザーの里田まいさんからも
温かいエールをいただきました
 
メンバー５人は
本当に夢みたい！
    ももち先輩みたいにトップアイドルに
    なれるように頑張ります！
 
っていってくれました
（社交辞令でない事を願う…）
 
素敵なメンバーと一緒に

where did she said it will be sing by 6 members ?
 
from what I can see is she only said that the indies single will be also their major debut

 

so probably merge the indies thread with this thread is the best choice

1.) yes, event only

 

2.) no, from what I can remember the only groups have to do those challenge were Morning Musume and S/mileage

 

3.) Tsunku is not Country Girls' producer, so yeah the answer is "no Tsunku logo"

 

btw, what I think "indies" means in H!P

indies in H!P are just for the girls to get used to the CD releasing process, and check wota reactions
