Don't panic, anyone, she wanted to say it was a break, accept that as what it is. I mean we can't do anything but accept it at this point you know. All we can do is give whatever we can to make her feel as wonderful as possible. And if she can feel that warmth and if it's strong enough then she'll come back. And if not... then hopefully she'll find her happiness somewhere else. We all have that dream for ourselves too, we can only hope for the best either way.

 

.......wow.... that sound so preachy... I apologize if it sounds that way to anyone else... I kinda need to tell myself that on a regular basis anyway, so I thought I'd just say it here anyway. Happiness is...complicated sometimes

I'm pretty sure it will be just a break...........I really think people have no idea what these girls do in a day's time...............and for how long they've been doing it.  Figure it out, both Sayu and ALL of Berryz Koubou have been putting a tremendous strain on their bodies for well over a decade, it's amazing they've lasted this long.  It's perfectly understandable that they want to get away from the dance lessons, the touring, the travel, the hurry-up-and-wait of photoshoots, recording sessions, events and touring.

That's right!

From everything we've heard so far Sayu's only said she's taking "a break".

I'm sure Sayu chose her wording carefully to indicate there is a high possibility of her returning one day, otherwise she would've just come out and said "complete retirement".

So although we'll be a little sad in the meantime...... let's look forward to her eventual return.

If there's any (serious) desire to walk away from show biz, she'd have done it long ago. She'll be back. There's a goodly number of other members we've seen plenty of after graduation. It's never entered my mind that Sayu wouldn't be like that.

I love how Japanese newspapers work hard to integrate graphics into their news articles...I don't think I see that here as often if at all.

 

@jwblack, that last one is from her book. I've been considering finding the time to do more of those translations, particularly if she's gonna keep her blogging down a bit till she gets better but...at the same time people should buy her book first =P. And you know...real life? lol.

There's always birthday lives and special lives like what Gaki does we can always hope she wants to do that when she comes back cause it she seems to love the way lives go.

 

I do hate the way she says "last" all the time, we all know she means as Morning Musume at the end of each of those statements. But I suppose there is a real possibility she won't be on there again if she's just gonna be a personality instead of a performer.

 

I just hope her blog keeps going

For now, I just hope Sayu enjoys what will likely be the first real break she's had in almost 12 years. She deserves it.
