I just wanted to post here to say that unless Risa's using a fake version of her last name, she has no relation to Ogata Haruna. They have different last names; Risa's is 小片, Haruna's is 尾形.

Yep, it's not the same surname .... but I don't know how much Japanese people value the pronunciation vs. Kanji spelling. Quite the unique problem - same pronunciation, 100% different spelling. That's confusing

I was recently thinking of keeping an eye on her, super happy she's debuting so fast! why do my favs turn out to be the oldest in their group most of the time tho |D

I checked who initiated the "thanks, we are ..." at the end of each factory performance. For kobushi, it's their leader, ayaka. For Tsubaki, it's ogata.. so I'm guessing she may be the leader of this new group?

Well, she joined Nice Girl Project as a trainee in April 2011, so she actually has the longest training period out of any member in Tsubaki Factory.

 

And for that reason, I am not surprise if she will become the group leader. Her looks fit as a leader of the group. Rikoriko, on the other hand, always look like a cute sad puppy. LOL.

I don't know much about her personality at the moment, so I am not going to count that, but that laugh is promising.

didn't rio do most of the announcement/MC thingies and stuff for the group before the leader announcement, bc she was oldest and thought she'd be leader?

if kobushi didn't know who their leader would be before it was announced i don't think tsubaki knows either... risa might be filling that role for now but they might officially still pick someone else. i'd be happy with her as leader though!!

This is likely enough to confirm that Ogata Risa is leader of Tsubaki Factory.

Well, it makes sense since she's the oldest.
Also, if the reason behind Hirose leadership was to integrate NGP girls, it's logic to have both factories leadered by NGP.
I'm happy she'll be the leader since she's my favourite in Tsubaki

Just saw Risa's most recent blog, she seems really interesting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Shes learning german, likes anime,  is a Hello Pro Wota (huge Kanon fan!) , and even artistic in that she likes to paint.

Wow! She might even give Harunan a run for her money for the title of "idol i most want to be friends with"..... but harunan is pretty hard to beat at this so we'll see.

 

She said shes learning german because an Anime character came to Japan from Germany. Im really curious about who this character is.

I read somewhere that she is a big fan of evangelion so perhaps its someone from there?

Yes Soryu Asuka Langley is an American who is 3/4 German and 1/4 Japanese, according to this wiki: http://en.wikipedia....a_Langley_Soryu

I haven't followed Evangelion is a long time so my memory of it is vague.
IIRC, Asuka is based in the NERV branch in Germany.
When that branch fell to the Angels, she was transfered to NERV in Tokyo 3, Japan.
