[Paramorning]

Orange Port (オレンジポート) is a Japanese idol group formed in August 2012.

It currently consists of 11 members.

The idol unit is based in the city of Numazu in Shizuoka Prefecture.

The audition was held in August 2012. The members were selected among 130 applicants.

Orange Port hold regular live performances in Shizuoka East Area, and they participated in Japan Expo in Paris Nord Villepinte, France, in July 2014.

I am really impressed with how they pass the mic and make it a part of the routine.

Definitely, I hope they blow up, their vocals matched with their dancing (I mean their routines are so efficient and great to watch!) is just far past what I've seen in Jpop before. I also love how all of the girls are part of the group. They have their main singers, but the group manages to not step on each other's toes.

I don't speak Japanese but this is darn cute. And one of them kinda looks like the love child of C-ute (the one in stripes)

Also I heard from another fan that there will be an album out in July, it was announced at their live. I'll post here when I get more info on it.

If they have an album out in July I'll be looking forward to it. They were great at Japan Expo last summer in Paris. Onstage they performed really well and offstage they were so friendly and charming.

I don't speak Japanese or have a large connection to the idol world outside of HP, so I'm often not the fastest to receive info, thanks for posting about their upcoming album!

 

The fact that they're all so genuine and funny off-stage is what drew me to Orange Port

I'm so sorry for the late news, but Yuyu-chan (my oshi) will graduate from Orange Port on Sunday the 17th of May 2015. You can read her blog post about it here. She was happy to be in Orange Port, but she wants to focus on her studies and enter university next year. She is a third year high school student now.

Also, the release date for the album is revealed to be the 2nd of July 2015.

 

G☆LE: As far as I know, Hime and Shuri aren't related, but it's possible that I just haven't seen it mentioned anywhere. My Japanese isn't very good.

 

Edit on the 17th of May: Yuyu has now graduated. She wrote a few words in English in her blog post from yesterday:

 

"そして、Japan EXPOに来てくれた海外の皆さん。(my translation: "And then, foreign fans who came to Japan Expo")

I'll miss her in the group so much!

 

Edit on the 31th of May: Orange Port are going to Japan Expo in Paris this year as well!
