Since a lot of concerts have been announced now.
For example Berryz last concert before hiatus..

I thought it would be nice for a 2015 thread...

I'll be in japan November 28th 'til December 10th

.

Concerts I'll attend:

C-ute concert 11/28 (Nakano sun plaza)

ANGERME budokan concert 11/29 (Fukoda Kanon graduation concert)

Morning Musume'15 12/7 (Budokan)

Meet up:

Just PM me if you want to meet up any day whiule I am there

TIPS:

Suica card

Phone and Pocket wifi rental

Contact regarding any Hello!Project ticket

Tip from Ares13:

Side note at the start, I recommend domestic Japan delivery of tickets to your hotel as the best option.

Know what concert you are going for
Concert tie to a special event like graduation?
This concert are more likely to be popular so take the fastest way out or risk paying a lot of money for the tickets or not being able to get the tickets at all.
Normal concert?
More risk can be taken for these concert but it will depend on the location of the concert(Tokyo, Nagoya etc), the popularity of the H!P group, the size of the concert area(Major arena, Concert hall, live house) and the day of the week (weekday or weekend) of the concert.

Camp the news site
This is the first place to get the schedule of the concert.
http://www.helloproj.../event/concert/

There is no way to know for sure when the bidding start for FC priority ..
You can try this site and find with the keyword “ 先行 ” but it is not 100%
http://www.up-fc.jp/...s.php?@PS@=none

So the best way is to check a real person proxy who have H!P FC membership if you are intending to ask them to help you bid for the FC tickets anyway.
No Country For Tall Men Exports
https://www.facebook...rTallMenExports
NozomiChan
http://www.hello-onl...-project-store/
http://www.hello-onl...660-nozomichan/

If you miss the priority bidding date for whatever reason, or you just don’t want to bid for lottery tickets for whatever reason.
You can choose one of the next steps :-

Rare Case* - Blog priority bidding (Does not happen most of the time)
Sometimes like MM 2014 falls concert in Budokan and MM 2015 falls concert, they ran a blog priority bidding.
This tickets are after FC priority but before general sales and ran by external ticket sales outlets with their links from their blog.
You can try your luck using the keyword to find “ 先行 ” at the main H!P news site to find if there are such an announcement.
http://www.helloproject.com/news/

General sales usually from the following sites
http://t.pia.jp/
http://eplus.jp/sys/main.jsp

You can use a real person proxy
No Country For Tall Men Exports
https://www.facebook...rTallMenExports
NozomiChan
http://www.hello-onl...-project-store/
http://www.hello-onl...660-nozomichan/

Or an online proxy
http://www.bridge.jpn.com/

Yahoo Auction for FC priority tickets
http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/
At this stage, the tickets are FC priority tickets that have been won but the seller do not know the seat number. The seller usually sell them as an insurance of getting their money back if they have extra tickets that is terrible.
The tickets are usually at cost or close to cost. The seat are usually bad but it is still FC priority tickets so it should be definitely better than those from general sales.

Online auction bidding service
http://goodyjapan.sakura.ne.jp/
http://www.fromjapan.co.jp/
For http://www.fromjapan.co.jp/
note
1) It is very important to read and understand how the site work if not you will incurred unnecessary cost
2) When bidding .. DO NOT select the insurance for domestic delivery because it a useless increase in cost as Japan is very safe
3) When bidding .. DO remember to tick the ticket item box because it is a ticket

If for any reason, you miss or decide to skip the above steps,  you can bid for them at Yahoo Auction.

Yahoo Auction for priority tickets
*Follow the same steps if you want to bid for general sales ticket for reason that they sold out or you just wanted better general sales ticket

http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/

The FC lottery winners will usually receive the tickets around 2 weeks before concert date.
Upon receiving the tickets, the winners will know their seat number.
At this stage, the tickets seat number is known so it will go by market rate.
The best time is usually camp them really early as there are many sellers and sellers fear not being able to sell them.
Or you can play chicken with the seller and get them really late which is not advisable.

If you are already in Japan and want to get the tickets you can get them if they are available
General sales usually from the following sites
http://t.pia.jp/
http://eplus.jp/sys/main.jsp
You can setup an account and order it with 7-11 payment and collection go down to 7-11 to pay and collect your tickets

You can use resale shop – there are 2 main ticket resale shop in Japan which you can get resale tickets
Note that this only work in Tokyo or greater Tokyo area, it does not work in other cities like Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka .. etc
Yokohama tickets
http://www.yokohamaticket.co.jp/
They got Shinjuku, Ueno, Shibuya and Ikebukuro shop.

Gorakudoh
http://www.gorakudoh.co.jp/
They got 3 shop at Harajuku ..
It is all located on that famous shopping street in Harajuku.

Both site got map to their shop.
Both site are pretty "live" with their updates.
So you can view what is for sale in which shop and the price before going down to the shop.
Again, you can play chicken with the seller and get them really late like a few hours before the show which is not advisable.

I'll also be going to Japan in 2015 (End of April - first few days of May), though H!P is not my main reason (mainly going to visit my friend who works in Hokkaido through the JET program).

Does anyone know when MM Spring tour/H!P Winter concerts tend to be?

My Favourites!

MM OGs: Suzuki Kanon, Yoshizawa Hitomi ~ Current MM: Iikubo Haruna, Makino Maria

Berryz: Tsugunaga Momoko ~ ANGERME: Meimi ~ Country Girls: Ozeki Mai ~ Kobushi Factory: Nomura Minami, Wada Sakurako

I'll be there in 2015.  Got free upgraded airfare for the entire family lined up again.  Got an invitation to visit Hakata and try for HKT48 tickets, another lady invited my kids and me to visit the Toei movie production facility in Kyoto, and I scored several hotel vouchers to stay at the Renaissance Naruto Resort in Shikoku (good for all of 2015) which my oldest daughter and I will enjoy for 3 or 4 days.  Of course, the H!P shows will be tried for again with the help of NozomiChan (H!O member here).  And the local NMB48 shows will be tried for as well.

But man... it 's a long way off.  At least until mid-June when the last class of the MS program is completed.

You can tell though... going to Japan is always on the front burner.

I'm trying to do Japan again this summer. Really really determined to. I'm not particularly sure I can afford it, but gonna save up all my money from now until then. The goal will probably be to go late July/Early August. I have a feeling I'll only make enough money for 2 weeks or so, though I'd love to do longer. Two weeks is not enough. And it means I'll have to probably pick between seeing a H!P concert or going to TIF, and guess at when they'll be.
But definitely gonig to try. If anyone has money earning tips, good times to buy plane tickets, ways to save money on food and such while in japan, etc. let me know.

I will help as much as possible if it's in the Tokyo area.  July is best.  We can share expenses in Tokyo.  I'll even change my H!O handle to Tony Machi-chan.

Don't worry too much about choosing between TIF and a H!P con when you have two weeks- so long as you're there over two weekends you should be fine. I went to Yappari/Korezo in Osaka one weekend, then TIF the next so it can be done :D Looking at past dates can give you a good idea of when/where things will be, but you'll have to hold off on booking if you want to be sure. I think TIF only announced the dates two months in advance, which is a pain if you want to plan in advance or catch a sale fare.

I went this year and I'm hoping to do the same thing next year (late July/early August) as well as a really short trip in June for C-ute's 10th anniversary concert <3

Ok .. as usual .. I need to go Japan at least once a year .. if not my life will be miserable .. LOL :P
I have check with my wife and we found that July is best ..
Basically .. I stay in a country that is summer hot year round .. I would prefer the colder weather .. but there is nothing to shop that I can use in my own country expect during summer time ..
Also .. summer is also quite a happening time for idols .. :D
Furthermore .. Japan summer ain't really that hot as I am very used to the 30+°C weather because that's the normal temperature everyday for me.. :P

Basically its a holiday trip with my wife again .. she ain't interested with idols .. but more of the shopping, Duffy's and Rilakkuma .. :D
This year I was pretty unlucky to miss TIF and the summer HelloCon .. I hope for better luck in 2015..
with the MM 12th, S/M 3rd and CG .. I want to go see them for real ..and of course I want to see all the other idols I like especially iDOL Street ..
I haven't seen my no.1 fav group GEM before in real life .. So I hope for plenty of luck for 2015 ..

I do not plan my Japan trip specifically to hit any idol events or concert .. I just book them early and hope for the best ..
This is because I got to find the schedule that fit both me and my wife ..and it's much cheaper to book early ..
This year I book my trip 5 months ahead of time and was pretty lucky as I caught S/M Budokan, TGS Live, Tsuribit, Cheeky Parade, C-ute and Juice=Juice event ..
So for 2015 .. I hope for even more luck :D

Looking at the calendar ... the target for me should be Tokyo from 9th to 21th July .. I usually go there for 2 weekends ..
Me and my wife work in the Accounting industry so we cannot do month-end and beginning of the month ..
So lets see if any of us can meetup .. LOL ..

Yeah my main worry is TIF announcing the dates. I went last year and it just worked out since I was staying so long, I made sure to cover any period TIF might be held. But this year, I'd probably not be able to book anything until two months before the trip or take a good guess, which is a little worrying XD

Planning my trip in the first week of may. i just came back from a 15 days trip so this may i m going to cut it short.

Golden week will be my target as most events and concerts will be happening in that week. I had an eventful Spring trip this year and hopefully the next will be as awesome too. :)

My main concern will be MM concert and cheki event. Usually the concerts will be at Nakano during golden week. (still waiting for the rest of the schedule to be announce.) I will be based in Tokyo only so hoping some other H!P groups will have performance in Tokyo that week too.

As it is still too early to say now, will confirm the dates once i have the concert and cheki dates.

Won 5 two-shots for May 30th, so it's just another excuse to go to Japan :D

Hoping to catch some HKT shows or concert tours around that time along with exploring Kyushu and visitng friends along the way....just have to figure out how to apply for shows now -_-
