I'm hoping for the best outcome, as Tsubaki is currently my favorite group and I really like Saorin. I hope she won't be forced out by the management...

 

Also, her boyfriend totally knew what he was doing, I've seen implications on Twitter that he used to be a Harowota, so..

Thankfully for the sensibilities of those so-called fans, I'm not in a position to release an official statement telling them that they can have their tantrums in a ball pit where their childish behavior is better suited, and might even benefit them if they happen to acquire a couple on the way out. Maybe then they won't be so afraid of catching cooties.

Not surprised. Saorin and her group are really popular, he knew what he was doing. There’s nothing too bad on those pics, so i don’t think it will be a problem, especially since their sales are great. Doubt the management will take the risk to kick a popular member out of the group when it’s basically the same things we got for Ayaka and Ayano.

-> little insight: I've just woken up (yeah at 2:30pm I know) and I had to scroll back really hard to see tweets related to this. So assuming it's been mentioned a lot, the whole thing died out quickly since I'm barely seeing any tweets related to this in the last hour.

 

My two cents on this is: I don't see clearly why he'd be a boyfriend.

^That's probably why there won't be anything about this. I see it as a situation similar to Hamachan and Ayapan being seen with boys/men - nothing too saucy.

Unfortunately some fans will see every guy next to an idol as a potential boyfriend. Saori might see a drop in popularity but that's not even certain.

I think the management and Rikoriko will support her if she's having a hard time.

Otherwise, she's not that foolish to sneakily date another guy, TBH, to get caught. I think it's just a guy trying to harass, or worse, blackmail her. Sadly, most of the time the scam works, unless UFP does something.

Actually, Tagucchi and Renako were considered "underdogs" of KF back then. Saorin isn't in this case. Profit determines whether she will leave in this case, or maybe if she really wants to leave, there's no help. There's a low chance for popular members to be fired, unless the members violate the rule twice. Saorin is among popular TF members, so I think it's hard to fire her. In H!P history, some popular members who involved in scandal such as Miya was never fired because, IMO, of the same reason: she was too important to the group. We really love to think about fancy things about idol industry, but it's nastier than we expect. Being underdogs means being easily fired if violating the rules

Unfortunately, the media really loves to fuss this rumor up even if it isn't true, and the fate of idols depends on it, actually. If most wotas think like you, this will be much easier for her.

Weren't they going to let Taguchi slide (maybe with an unnecessary apology but not kicking her out)? But then she went to them and said she was quitting. Or am I remembering that wrong?

 

Anyway, with her penchant for the selfie, Saorin is probably more upset with having to share a picture with someone else than anything.

I think Rio was really the only one who was fired. Rena's attitude made it look like she wanted to leave but didn't know how, and i wouldn't be surprised if it was true for Natsumi as well.

 

I've seen a lot of people making fun of this scandal, saying "Ha, now it's Tsubaki's turn to have a member becoming a nobody because of a scandal"... but it's not on the same level at all. Tsubaki is one of the best selling group right now, Saorin is one of the most popular member and... that "scandal" isn't that bad. Sure, you'll have people acting like she's a prostitute, but nobody seems to care that much about it since there's barely anything scandalous.

 

Even if they actually fired Rena and Natsumi... it's not like they cared about them in the first place, unlike Saori.

I've said it on facebook and I'll say it here. If anything comes of this she'll basically be given a choice. Dump him or leave the group. Which is what I think it came down to with Rena and Taguchi, I don't think they care how well a group is selling or how popular the member is. Unless they actually learned to chill a bit from Aibon, then they are gonna treat this like every other "scandal"  (accept the C-ute ones but they where ending soon so yeah know)

That’s assuming he’s her boyfriend. Cause so far, it seems like "She can’t be with a guy if he’s not her boyfriend". And the fact he had a fansite make him even more suspicious.

Not a lot of people care about just like no one would have cared about Ayaka and Ayano’s "scandals" (Aka "It kinda look like Ayano’s back" and "OMG Ayaka is eating with someone, what a b....") if they weren’t the 4th and 5th scandals in a row, so it would be pointless to fire your little walking money bag.

Unless there’s something big (In a bed, kissing, holding hand ect...), they usually just ignore it. Just like Saorin just ignored it and just thanks the fans for all the comments she got on her blog

Isn't Hamachan's pic similar to Saorin's? Not just the one from her back, but the purikura like one? I doubt anything will come out of this. In the ig video they are sitting with other people so that's like Hirose's karaoke.
