I've never been interested in Lovelyz enough to even listen to any of their music. Same with Oh My Girl. I gave Gfriend a chance with Glass Bead and like taylorniw said, they're alright. I personally really like them but I definitely wouldn't consider them one of the best rookie girl groups out there. Not counting the groups that only debuted this year, Mamamoo is one of the best rookie girl groups I've seen so far.

Gfriend has one girl who is really good. The rest don't do much other than make her look even better by comparison.

Omg I just watched that video of that GFriend member busting her ass a million times and all I want to know is how in the hell is she the only one that fell? It rained and it was an open venue, so I was expecting someone else to fall. Not the same member over and over again, with that leg injury too.

Just popping in to say on the subject of girl nugu's that The Ark are amazing and gorgeous and I love them. 

 

 

Their covers of boy group dances are also cool. Minju (the blonde) is my bias ;-;

Oh I heard of The Ark before. But not in a good way. People consider them BTS wannabees. I don't know why. It's not like BTS completely owns their musical style. They're very good though.

Hmm, that's maybe cause they've done that Boy in Luv cover but they've done more EXO covers i think. Could be because BTS did a reaction video to their cover and they liked it, I can imagine some fans prob hating that lol

Aichan met AOA and it was recent too. I cried...Seolhyun and Aichan on the same stage together...I'm done with life.

I'm kind of interested in Twice right now. The teasers piqued my interest, but the issue I have it that half of the fans are set on the idea that when they do debut, they'll 'slay the nation' or 'slay all girl groups'. No doubt it looks really good. But not amazing to the point where they will, say, snatch BoA's title.

What title? BoA hasn't been a big name in years. There's been tons of idols after her who are much more talented than she is as well.

I know she's not as relevant anymore but a lot of people still call her the Queen of Kpop. Although I do agree that there are more talented idols/singers, she's been in the business for ages and a lot of idols look up to her.

I'm addicted to Closer now. taylor's status was super effective. I love three voices in there. Too bad it's so hard to sing it lol.

Too slow and spacey for me, but it's definitely a grower. The rest of the album sounds really promising, and thankfully they've uploaded it to iTunes right away. (I'm looking at JYP here)

I love it when F(x) comeback and save Kpop. 

The rest of their album is really solid. F(x) never disappoints me.

I really like the electronica direction a lot of SM groups have taken this year. 4 Walls is great, reminds me of Shinee's View. Not sure if she belongs here but IU's new song is awesome too.
