Really wondering where YG's new girl group is.

 

They have been teased and media-played since late 2011

Me and K-pop have some kind of a casual, friends with benefits relationship. One month will be all K-pop. then next month no Kpop at all.

I have a kinda serious issue with not being able to differentiate members, though. It probably doesn`t help that they always change hairstyles for each comeback (  ) and that the industry requires them to have pretty similar facial structure.

Anyway, my favorite group is Orange Caramel, though that`s relative, since I mostly just listen to songs I like, whoever released them.

Only group thats ever given legitimate trouble after I actively followed them was T-ara. But as for nugus who only exist to me when rehearse promoting a song? I don't bother with names. Even though Kpop is popular in Korea, most people can't name all the members in a group either so you're not alone.

I know smaller groups, like OC, 2NE1 and Girls` Day. (And Super Junior, but they were the reason I got into K-pop, so they`re special.) Anything with over 5 people gets overwhelming

There's like two Jessica clones in that group...

 

The only girl that really stood out to me was the girl at 0:01 and 0:06. She looks cute and at least different.

9Muses is coming back this week after like a year hiatus in which 3 of the members left and where they added two more 

 

 

9Muses are my queens and I really can't wait for this mini album^^

O_O whats up with 9muses ? Ugh Just when they were 9 flippin other 3 leaves. I wonder who these 2 new members are? I dont think they will last longer as a group but hey i might be wrong. I used to love their songs.

What's wrong is that they're with an awful company. Star Empire doesn't exactly have a good rep.

Also they didn't promote at all during 2014, and like with Glue they were on an upward momentum, but they flat lined with only Nasty Nasty promoting, so I understand why they left which sucks because the Glue line-up was really good. 

 

The only thing I'm worried about is that they're using a different producer for this mini-album when they have been using Sweetune since Figaro (and I mean all songs since Figaro the whole Prima Donna album was by Sweetune), so they might have a different sound which can go either way depending on the song.

Them not promoting during 2014 isn't surprising, though. Losing Sera was a pretty heavy hit.

 

Anyway, Rainbow are having their first comeback in two years.

 

....so uh. That's exciting? I don't know, I was a huge Rainbow fan for their first couple of years but they're just not worth it these days. I'm honestly surprised that they haven't had a single member leave yet.

Actually their "Mini-Album" (Which looks like a glorified single to me) is what I really wanted to buy because they remind me of early 2000s KPop and the songs in the album aren't bad at all.
