I think she was screeming "What's going on?!" in her head the whole time. This apparent ruse makes even more question marks appear above her head ...and then there's a weird woman with a strange entrance . I thought Satoda Mai was especially weird with Uta, maybe to elicit a reaction from her.

If I was in Shimamura's shoes, I would expect some sort of prank going on

if its me .. i would think its some sort of initiation prank ..

but I guess the 2 KSS would recall there was a Country Musume audition which KSS can participate earlier in the year .. therefore they reacted better ..

Out of the new girls Uta stood out the most to me. And I feel like I can relate to her reaction of just being completely stunned and in shock at being selected for the group.

 

She seems like the reserved type so I hope she doesn't get too easily overshadowed by the more outgoing personalities of the group.

I get the actress thing, for a reserved girl her face is very expressive

You can't see her face at all. That's a ridiculously common hairstyle so no, it could be virtually any female in Japan between the ages of like 12 to 29. Just saying.
