RynRyn☆ミDrop is currently an idol duo under the management of Production I / Love Mark Stage (formerly Akiba On Stage). The group was previously managed by Akiba On Stage / Atena Music, but these closed in January 2015.
 
RynRyn was formed in 2012 with three members: Sakuragi Hina, Andou Honoka, and Fujino Shiho. This line-up lasted until September of 2014, when it was announced Shiho would be graduating. On December 28th, 2014, Hoshina Haru joined. Honoka graduated from the group on April 5th, 2015, bringing RynRyn☆ミDrop to its current line-up of Hina & Haru.

I like all the AOS / Atena groups I've seen but admittedly this group is the one I have been ignoring.  Not that they are bad - they're not!  I guess Onigokko, Haru * Kana and RABBIT KICK just caught my attention the most.  Thanks for creating this thread so I could learn more about them.

A new Robot Restaurant certified unit called iRobo (アイロボ; iRobo), featuring members of DokiDoki☆Dream Campus, Abunai Onnanoko Sisters, RynRyn☆ミDrop, and Haru☆Kana, will debut at the restaurant and release their first single this Valentine’s Day (02/14). The single will be called RoboRes iRobo (Robot Restaurant -  iRobot) and consist of two songs (plus instrumental versions): “iRobo” and “Robot Enka iRobo ver.”.

Forgot to add this awhile ago, but Hoshina Haru (Haru☆Kana) is now a member of RynRyn☆ミDrop as of December 28th, 2014. She's now a member of Haru☆Kana, RynRyn☆ミDrop, and iRobo.

Anyone still considering picking up iRobo's first single, here is a sample of the coupling track:

 

 

It looks like they are releasing photo collection DVDs/Blu-Rays for each member with lots of images (850x1250px for the DVDs and 3700x5600px for the Blu-Rays) plus 8 mins. of video.

 

They go on sale March 1st and can be bought on Amazon Japan. Haru, Kana, and Hina's got removed for some reason, but the others are still there.

Woops, kinda forgot about this thread.. And have neglected Twitter for awhile. Back with sad news. Honoka graduated from the group on April 5th at their 3rd one man live at Shibuya VUENOS. She also will no longer be updating her blog and Twitter. It appears she will be leaving the entertainment industry. I wish her all the best with whatever her future may hold!

All this time this unit made me wonder if the gravure stuff is holding them back or the reason they actually have a few fans. Hina stopped gravure a long time ago I think and Haru didn't even do any gravure yet, so with Honoka gone maybe we see a change of direction as well as a boost in activities and exposure.

Ichigo Jam (いちごジャム) (released 2015.03.21). This stars Honoka and some other idols (the only other one I knew was Takaoka Miku from Abunai Onnanoko Sisters). Plot is pretty easy to follow even if you don't understand Japanese. My listening comprehension isn't that great, but I followed along just fine.

I'll miss Honoka.

Thanks for this detailed post. Her aura is really great and she looks great as an actress. She seems to me like one of those girls who has much talent but somehow can't get a proper audience. I see girls like her quite often in the junior modelling scene. Ai Takanashi is another great example. She is a good singer and dancer, can play piano and draw on an excellent level and her MC skills are super awesome too. She even is quite good at English. Yet she doesn't seem to do that much, even her DVD and photo releases seem rather slow. Anyways, I hope Honoka will find her way.

Yea, she did a great job. As did the other girls. I went into the movie with not very high expectations acting-wise, but was pleasantly surprised all round.
 
I like Ai too, I occasionally watch her on Showroom and she seems like a smart and talented girl. Hopefully she'll be able to eventually get more opportunities outside of gravure.

I noticed ryn2drop's website has been updated sometime recently. I hope that is a sign that the new management still sees a future in the group. Added a few new SNS links to my first post.

Few new demos with just Haru. You can vote for your favorite by retweeting it and it looks like people can vote at lives too. Not sure if a single will come of the winning song or not yet, or if it will just be new material to sing at shows. Both sound nice, so wouldn't mind either as a single..
