I saw a very short clip of Chel singing Romantic Ukare Mode as a duet at a recent concert. Anyone know what concert she sang that in? I haven't been keeping up with concert videos these days and I need to catch up! Compared to the clip of her singing it at her birthday event, her singing technique seems to have improved so much!

She sang it as a duet with Kobushi Factory’s Ayapan during the Hello Pro All Stars Single Hatsubai Kinen Event ~Team Taikou Uta Gassen~ in March 2019. Their subunit was called “Chelsea Bread” haha

I saw Fukumura with the same hairstyle, very likely they're extensions. Probably the ones Ikuta had been wearing recently. Miki called herself with this hairstyle "Gyaru Chel". I think it looks good on her.

 

I loved the purple hair though.

To be honest, long hair in general would be really cool, like really long hair. Like Haruna had for some time. Most girls go for some mid-length style.

 

(As someone who had hair this long for a long time myself I do understand if they prefer the shorter cut, though lol It's pretty high maintenance.)

I always gravitate to the long haired girls first, because I have hair that reaches my waist. Super long hair is so pretty, but I get why more girls don't do it. For one thing, it's so easy to cut your hair short, but takes a long time to grow back to super long. Still, extensions can do the job well too.

I think the bad part with Miki is that in Japanese, the "dirty" stuff is something between the lines, while her English sentence was pretty obvious...

 

It's been a regular corner since 2004 I think. I remember a lot of us being creeped out when they pulled this stuff with girls who were way younger than Miki (15 year old I think, maybe it was Riho or Mizuki? Back then Sayumi was still a regular.).

I understand that it could be argued that this may be acceptable by japanese given their different mindset about sexual behaviour norms, but I'm confident that we as a humanity should collectively strive towards better, universally accepted norms. And that shit is definitely amoral in my book.

Miki was a guest on Youngtown and I guess there is a corner where fans can request the girls to say anything, and someone requested Miki to say “Oh yes, I’m c*mming”. Even if she’s 20, it’s still inappropriate for fans fo request the girls to say such sexual things at their own expense and whoever requested her to say it should be ashamed of themselves. I hope she genuinely found it funny and wasn’t too uncomfortable with it, that’d make it even worse.

I saw the Wota in Translation thing first, and then when I heard it for myself - based on everyone's reactions - I thought I was about to hear something FAAARRR worse. I was like "THIS is what everyone's carrying on about!? Ugh."

What Miki said was bad but it could've been much worse and even more explicit. So that's a plus

Miki was laughing afterwards which could mean she was comfortable and just having fun, or it could be she is just laughing because she is so uncomfortable. We will never know unless she tells us.

One thing I'm pretty sure we can all agree on is that Sanma is a creep. People can say it's just a character he plays all you want but to be able to continue playing the character after decades means that he and you are okay with that kind of behavior.
