The ones that really knock you out..........the ones where you wonder how anyone could NOT like idol pop after watching?  I have plenty but I'll start out with this one.  It's a J=J cover of a Taiyou and Ciscomoon song, Sayubee just wails on it!  It's amazing how good they've gotten in such a short time!  From this summer's Roppongi Hills Summer Fest:

This one is also great. It's what made me realise that PE was over, but with a good feeling.

 

 

And of course, Ayaya-perfectness. Well, the costume is... questionable. The performance however is not.

Roman ~MY DEAR BOY~ from 2004 Haru The Best of Japan tour. One of my favorites, I could watch it over and over again.

A very good start to this thread!  All of those Platinum Era tunes were incredible.  I suspect that in the future people won't know how good they actually were.

 

Since people picked some older selections, I have a couple of favorites from the '06 Winter Wonderful Hearts concert.  Even though there's a great version of Def. Diva doing this at Yokohama Arena, I like this version the best because of how they use it as an opener, bringing out all the groups one at a time.  At each point it just gets more dynamic!

 

 

Also, from that same concert, probably putting the best four voices from all of those groups together in one tune, we have this Gochin cover with Aichan, Aibon, Erika and Mikitty:  Ah, I had to go to Veoh to find this, it's no longer on YouTube:

Shabondama during the The Best of Japan tour. One of my favourite performances and favourite Shabondama performance. Everything about it is amazing, the stage, the line-up, the crowd. And Miki and Ai-chan sound so epic in this. Especially Ai-chan when she goes "NAkiyagare", goosebumps~

Ame no Furanai Hoshi dewa Aisenai Darou? from the 2009 Haru ~Platinum 9 DISCO~ Really like this version because the crowd isn't mixed out. You can feel the love, and why the members get teary eyed.

Such a good version! I think my favourite is the one from Wonderful Hearts Summer 2008. Linlin's line isn't drowned out at the end, I LOVE that. I wish it was ALWAYS like that.



This song definitely sums up PE for me, I miss it so so much.. I remember everyone was getting sick of this song but I wonder how many people miss it now..?

Really love this song (almost any version of it). The rokkies had their version. And they alternate as well. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!

This one right here is what i would say.  This is the first live performance of MM i watched when i was first becoming a fan and its still my favorite.  The whole Concert is probably my favorite MM concert to watch.  I just love how the stage is in the center it add a whole new dynamic to all the performances in the show.
