Title is 背伸び (Senobi) / 伊達じゃないよ うちの人生は (Date ja nai yo Uchi no Jinsei wa).

Date ja nai yo Uchi no Jinsei wa was performed at their concert tour.

 

 

Senobi means to stretch, or figuratively, to reach beyond you ability.

Date ja na yo needs to grow on me, but it totally sounds like Juice=Juice's style. 

 

Senobi translates to pushing one's self to the limit? That sounds like the song will definitely be a threat.

Juice=Juice's tour has been quite succesful, it originally started in June and it has already been prolonged until late November, that's almost half a year. I think they want to give the girls plenty of original material as fast as possible for future tours. They're definitely high on UF's priority list right now.

I like the intro in Date Janai, but the quality is too bad to tell anything else for me. The title of Senobi sounds like it might be another Kaze ni Fukarete type song??

Checking the thread for the J=J tour it has been on the setlist since the beginning,

they have been performing it since June

 

I remember that I wondered if it would become an album song,

but Tsunku mentioned back then that it was that it was only written to have more songs for the tour.

And now they still make it into a single

I'm glad though, I wasn't too keen on their previous release, and it didn't match up to the standards of Hadakanokiss, so I'm really hoping for good things from this single!

Datte Janai Yo is pretty standard J=J, I find. It's catchy and funky. Doesn't 'wow' me, though. Excited for Senobi though!

I thought "Date," is an amazing song, so I'm really glad it's an a-side

 

I just figured they'd slap it onto an album.

 

I'm picturing a really fun PV, especially since it's so fast paced.

 

I'm hoping Senobi will be more like Romance no Tochuu or the remake of Watashi ga Iu Mae ni, with the kinda throwback sound.

I really like this song So fun and bouncy but it does remind me of something H!P have released before, but then again H!P does have its signature sound. Date Janai reminds me of something the PE of MoMusu would perform. The girls sound fantastic in the rip!

I think I hear a little bit of "oheso no kuni" in "date". It's not a bad song just a not really good rip, so I'll make my mind about it later .

I think Date has that 'juice=juice feel' to it, their songs either have this 'boogy' to them or have a classy feel, this is a pretty bouncy yet cool song could almost be an opening for 90s shoujo anime.

Having some difficulty trying to translate that title, it's a tricky one!

 

I think 'Date janai yo Uchi no Jinsei wa' translates to something like 'My life isn't just for show'.

 

'Jinsei' (life) refers to actual existence, rather than lifestyle. So kind of like saying 'My life doesn't exist for the sake of it, it has purpose/meaning'?

 

Interested to see how it will be translated when the music video comes out.
