It's funny that Seulgi has been nicknamed the second Taeyeon because when I first saw her I thought she looked like a combination of Taeyeon and Yuri.

Round of applause for SM, they actually listened. Now we can all enjoy the video without the newspaper articles and the twin towers thing . 

I don't see why they didn't do this in the first place. Not checking your sources for a collage is not an excuse. You are a multi-million dollar company there are no excuses.

 

They're supposed to have a mini-album coming out I think sometime soon. As for now I can't get Happiness out of my head.

Wasn't Music Core the show that recently banned lip syncing? Or am I confusing them with someone else? 

Our girls are so talented! I've supported Wendy since she was announced as a SMRookie, so I was really excited for her debut! I'm really happy SM gave her that huge part to sing!

Joy has a really cute voice too I can't wait to see their other performances!

It's weird because I'm an SMTOWN stan and I love almost every SMENT artist.
I like their song and MV though and the girls are very pretty, the group just has to grow on me.
Their debut was a little sudden tbh

Apparently, there's a rumor going around that Red Velvet is just a shuffle unit of a much larger group that's supposed to have 12 members. There are also two other shuffle units with Yellow and Blue in their names. And each shuffle unit has it's own designated area like Red Velvet has Korea and the other two splits Japan and China. It's just a rumor but it makes sense since every SM artist/group has a gender counterpart (well for their Korean artists unless SM has a Chinese male soloist I know nothing about.)

^ I also agree about Natural. It's not my style. I like Happiness a lot more. Be Natural sounds a bit more...mature and slow to me? But I like the dance though! I think they did a good job with the dance.

I read it's a cover of a former SM group, S.E.S. or something like that. It's not something I'll put on replay, like I did with Happiness, but it's a very good song and really showcases how talented Seulgi and Wendy are.

SM added a new member to the group for their comeback. Her name is Yeri and her birthday is March 5, 1999. (Her joining must be a nice birthday gift ^^)

It feels a bit unnecessary but okay I just hope they won't be adding more and more members in the future, the four of them make a great and balanced group as it is. I'm slowing getting used to the fact that nowadays debuting J-idols are born after 2000, but in K-pop it's still so scary (she was born in 1999 but it's getting so close)!

I don't believe that rumor that they're going to keep slowly adding to the group until it's big. AS have proven that won't work in kpop and it took a long time for ELFs to accept Kyuhyun. I think it's just that RV didn't shoot up in popularity the way SME expected (because this isn't 2009 anymore and there's a lot of legit competition from girl groups outside of SME) and that adding Yeri is an attempt to fix that now rather than later, because adding new people is the easiest way to make a group seem exciting.

 

I also don't believe the people saying that she was supposed to debut with them back in August and just wasn't ready, like homegirl hasn't suddenly become a rockstar over the course of half a year, y'all tripping. Since they're saying she can sing, rap, AND dance, I'm going to read in between the lines and guess that she's competent at everything but probably excels in nothing. If she's not really good at something, her entire existence is just going to be one big 'why?' because the group was already capable and not lacking in visuals before her.

 

Also, SME are doing them DIRTY by having this comeback a week and a half before EXO. Everything about RV always seems so rushed, and I don't get it. They need to get these girls out there in a dead ass month like January so people don't have anyone else to care about. Gee didn't get nine straight wins because they released it in the midst of a ton of summer jams and it won the battle royale. I was streaming kpop shows back then and they won because there wasn't jack except After School and trot artists.
