It has been four years since her last release, but Natsumi Abe is releasing a self-cover album on August 13th entitled "Smile…❤".

It has ten tracks, two of the songs are originally by Morning Musume (Senkou Hanabi and Furusato), a music video for Furusato and Best Friend and an interview.

このたび安倍なつみが、約4年ぶりにCDアルバムを自身のソロデビュー日となる8月13日にリリースさせて頂く事になりました。
モーニング娘。から始まり16年の歌手活動を振りかえりながら、これまでの楽曲をセレクトし、改めてアレンジ、ヴォーカル録音をした初めてのセルフカバーアルバムになります。
そして7月19日より『音霊 OTODAMA SEA STUDIO』（神奈川県鎌倉市）より全国5ヵ所
8公演のライブツアーをスタートいたします。

I don't think they've confirmed this, but I believe 33 ~Smile Life~ is probably a new version of 25 ~Vingt-Cinq~.

Interesting and varied selection of songs from her discography. I wonder if she got to choose the songs herself?

She looks lovely on the cover and I'm really looking forward to Furusato. In the original version her singing was able to move me to tears, I wonder if she is still able to do that.

 

I hope she will give some sort of mini tour to promote this album.

I'm so thrilled to hear the new version of Iki wo Kasanemashou. That song is one of her best! I wish she would've covered Screen or Amasugita Kajitsu.

 

Very nice track list I've always thought her solo music was the best of all of H!P.

I love the rearrangement and her singing is beautiful and soothing. Really nice MV, I liked that they put the train and train tracks in there as well, as a kind of nudge to the original version.

I really like the PV for Furusato, it's sweet - gives me all sorts of weird feels when I think of the original PV - edit: just watched the original, I think it's still my favourite, so retro, Abe and her 'wet look' hair - haha!

 

In the new PV, I think Abe could've moved her mouth a little more to make it look like she was actually singing, still, nice PV.

Let me congratulate you on your music taste, yes I do love Iki wo Kasanemashou and Screen too!! Really happy to see that song on the tracklist but I wish Screen made it too

wow! she is stunning no matter what! she always smile and it's feels like the whole world become brigh! I'm not a huge fan of her but since I started following MM in 2001 I have a lot of good memories of Nacchi and I'm so happy to see her releasing something new!

I wonder how much Nacchi fans are left, hope it does well this week!!
