[Aeria]

Love Live! is a Japanese multimedia project co-developed by ASCII Media Works' Degenki G's Magazine, the music label Lantis, and the anime studio Sunrise. The first group, µ's,  debuted with the single Bokura no LIVE Kimi to no LIFE in August 2010. They would eventually get an anime and mobile game in 2013.

 

There's currently four anime groups to have debuted under the "Love Live!" name: µ's (School Idol Project), Aqours (Sunshine), Nijigasaki School Idol Club (PDP), and Liella! (Superstars!). As of 2021, only Aqours, Nijigasaki, and Liella are currently releasing new songs. µ's has been semi-inactive since 2016 (only participating for the mobile games). There's also a rival group for Aqours, Saint Snow. Saint Snow gets their own releases now too!

Love Live! Sunshine!!, known as Aqours has taken µ's spot as active group. They were first announced on February 25th, 2015, and officially began activities on April 30th, 2015 with the reveal of the character names and seiyuus. They were added to the Love Live! mobile game on 07/03/2016, and received their anime debut on 07/05/2016.
 
The name Aqours is a combination of the words Aqua and Ours. The name is pronounced as Aqua.

Wait, so they started off as a real idol group, and then they made an anime out of it after that? I always thought the anime was the one that set the group together. huh.

 

Anyway, I only know about this anime because of Kikuchi Moa, who loves this show... I mean she absolutely adores it. I did end up watching the first season though. The songs haven't really sunk in yet, but I started playing the iphone game. Some of the songs are really good.

 

I like Umi, Hanayo and Eli.

I just started to play 2 weeks ago, on Babymetal Paris live day, I was quite surprised to discover that Moa is a huge LoveLive Fan

The anime isn t the greatest I ever saw, but is quite enjoyable anyway, some of the songs are really catchy (though playing those hundreds time might help a bit )

I've known Love Live since last year but I really didn't care for them until I went to an anime event where they offered posters of Muse members. I watched the introduction episode (Episode 0?) and Natsuiro Egao and Wonderful Rush got stucked in my head so I gave it a chance I rarely love anime idol groups (UtaPri didn't interest me despite being a girl lol) so I'm somewhat surprised to myself ^^ I also play the ENG SIF so if you guys want to be friends just PM

My favorite characters are Elichika (Harasho ), Maki, Umi & Hanayo. When it comes to the seiyuu, Shikaco is seriously killing me with her cuteness x.x


And if I'm correct, tomorrow is the day we will know Kira-Kira Sensation's rank in Oricon? I hope they got #2 or #3 ^^
