I'm hoping to have an upbeat, uplifting disco-influenced song, coupled with a ballad for the second a-side. That'd be perfect The last single gave us two extremes, from dark/sexy/vocal-based to fun, genky, typical Idol-music. So it'd be nice to have two less extreme songs this time around haha

I'd love a ballad, especially after Tsunku worked his magic on TokiSora. I'm not crazy about Idol ballads, but Tsunku's managed to make some absolutely fantastic ones.

I checked on Google, and it is lol. In Sapporo. It is even written the same way as in the song's title (すすきの).

 

Maybe it's a song like Help Me!!? "Sapporo, Susukino", "Tasukete onegai, I'm stuck in the red-light district, creepy geezers everywhere".

 

With a title like this I really don't know what to expect

Mystery Night was one thing, but if they're releasing a song about prostitution isn't that a bit much?

Susukino is an area in Sapporo that would be classed as a red-light district...but if you've been to any red-light districts in Japan you'll know it's not like one massive brothel, rather it's like a sleazy entertainment district...special...services are available, but I doubt that's what S/mileage will be singing about - if they are, I'll be...well not sure yet haha.

Red light districts are fun! Albeit a bit frightening sometimes, but still a good time!

 

For some reason, I'm starting to think of something a bit like AKB's Seifuku ga Jama wo Suru. Sounds good to me! That's one of my favorites.
