[Morning Death]

Hi guys. I decided to leave this fandom so I thought about stripping myself off some of the "tools" that I used to follow the 48G. Hopefully this thread isn't inappropriate, otherwise I would be failing in here up to the last moment.

 

Anyways, here are some links I think you may find useful:

 

1) Apart from the tracker I used some of these links to download 48G stuff:

2) To follow 48Group stuff I remitted myself to the following Matome:

It serves as some kind of hub or lobby for a lot of matome websites so it is like having all in one place to be then redirected to where you want to go.

which I consider to be helpful sometimes. I think one of the guys running the thing allegedly worked for a model agency or something and supposedly saw KojiHaru before she joined AKB48. I could be wrong or he was lying, anyways, it is Twitter, go ask him yourself.

 

3) Google+ is a bitch to follow sometimes, that is why i used........ TWITTER!

 

There are some fans running some accounts with the sole purpose of forwarding the G+ updates from all 48G members. If you create a Twitter account you can "Follow" these accounts and receive up to date updates from the latest comments of members in G+.

The Twitter updates have the first sentences of the member comments and at the end a link that takes you straight to the members' G+ comment. Convenient, huh? It would be if they weren't so many updates. lol Following them was very overwhelming.

Huh... weird view to have. Only time I ever get upset about idols being in relationships is when they are sleeping with guys roughly twice their age. And, yes, I have a knee-jerk negative reaction to those ones even now... but even then, it was more the feeling of "I really don't want to be party to such behavior and choosing to support those members when I could cheer for others doesn't make sense to me."

 

But, I got more angry at the idol management for firing idols or pressuring them to "retire" than I ever did at any girl for going out on a date or even staying overnight at a guy's house.  Yeah, maybe some of them kind of gave me a guide as to what sort of girl I am interested in, but I always figured I should just look for a girl who had those same traits rather than thinking of them like "heaven"... I mean... really?! I am really glad that the fandom is maturing away from people that go all looney, berserk and destructive when that happens to those who just don't care. It actually means the fans are far more respectable people than they used to be. The lack of any real negative effect that "scandals" have on their ratings is a good thing...

 

Maybe Scavenger needs to take some time away. Mature some, get a good grip on his life. Find something that gives him meaning so that he need not get jealous over other human beings having relationships. Maybe age enough so that girls like that look less like potential girlfriends and more like kids he'd like to be able to raise. But, it can be hard. AKS has always had those members who do all too risque glamour photoshoots that come close to soft-core porn and get put in the same magazines as soft-core porn really blurring the line. And there are other things that have similarly blurred the line in a way that can't be healthy for people like Scavenger. I refused to look at anything AKS related for years because I felt the agency was too exploitative.

 

So, it probably is healthy to, at the very least, move one's attention away from AKS to different agency, or.. at least filter which materials you choose to consume.

As someone just getting into AKB48, this is very helpful. Thank you. Doubtful if OP returns, but my only comment would be, "Do what ya gotta do."
