Announced during the first concert of Spring 2014 ~Evolution~.

As usual, girls between the ages of 10 and 17 may sign up for the audition. H!P Kenshuusei are also allowed to participate. There's no mention about whether or not Country Musume auditionees may also audition for Morning Musume (at least I can not find it).

 

Application deadline is 11 May, 2014 (Saturday).

 

Profile: A girl who loves singing, and who strongly believes in her own future. And even though she's not so certain about her confidence, she still wants to try.

 

Winners will participate in MM's events (not concerts) during Autumn, and take lessons, before they will officially debut in 2015.

However, I think they won't get another solo gen so I expect at least 3 girls.

As of Dec 30 2019, the girls are no longer broadcast daily even though they broadcasted daily for 3 years.

H!P kenshuusei Danbare Ruru, who was a finalist in the previous 12th gen audition, should audition again.
I want her in Momusu!! She's only 12 and hear what she's already capable of. I like that she has a lower voice.

 

 

Plus she has the same first name as I have, when I translate my name in katakana :D

^ dare I say it, she's already better than everyone currently in MM and that's not actually meant as insult.

 

Other Kenshuusei I'd point to right now are:

 

Sasaki Rikako - She already getting a massive push, has experience, a year in the trainees and most importantly a 'star' aura about her she will win MM new fans.

Makino Maria - For me she has an MM look and character about her, plus it would make Sayu extremely (probably too happy).

Funaki Musubu - For me she fits the remit of the audition most in the loves singing, confidence thing. She's currently hoovering up the wota in the KKS and it turns out she really can sing really quite well.

 

tbh though I think there's an awful lot of different characters and talent in the trainees to choose from...but yeah Ruru :good:

 

btw here 黄金 is read as ゴールデン

At least I hope it would be KSS, normal girl couldn't keep up with the dance without some intensive trainings, and would drag the perf down.
I hope Sayu will not graduate... T_T

It depends if you take Danbara as an example of the 'normal girl' she'd already been through the ASH training program (same as Riho and Perfume members) so she would've been pretty ready to go even without joining the Kenshuusei.

I love that they used 黄金 as that is the Japanese for "Golden era" (黄金期) so it... really goes both the English and Japanese way. :3

If Funaki Musubu, Haga Akane or Danbara Ruru doesn't make it this time I'm going to question the management... I think they would be perfect for Momusu :)

Yes, I meant "normal normal girl", not "ace in training" with some experience. XD

Don't worry. The girls will receive training and debut at 2015. So any normal girls by then should technically be fitting to participate.
