The creepiest part of it is how the biggest defenders are always older guys who should know better.

 

 

And the biggest whiners are always American girls who want to think they can control any culture they want and demand all fandom bends to their tastes. It's not enough your country forcefully controlled and humiliated Japan you want to tell them how their idols should dress and act too .

 

 um...I'm an older American male and I thought the outfits were too "mature" for them, and most of the defenders have been young feamle fans! So there's that...I liked the song and styling of 18 Emotion MUCH better, personally and think this is the single they should have pushed imho. That's S/mileage to me. Fun, light, genki...youthful. Completely age appropriate (even if some aren't 18 yet and I HOPE Meimei's not dating a college guy! lol)

Which they likely can with the right events on to encourage sales. But that's still a couple of weeks away before we see if they have managed to get close to that.

 

I'm not even sure whether the second week is included in those numbers, so for all we know they could be very close right now.

Nogi46's single has been charting for two months and only one of those weeks was out of the top 20. I'm not surprised to see it back in the top 3, especially if this is a slow week.

 

Were there some events this week for Mystery Night?

There were events on the 17th and there will be some on the 31st. Still, a jump that big is shocking for them. Their photo set for this single is also currently on the "popular photo galleries" sidebar on Oricon, right in between AKB and Adult AKB, so your guess is as good as mine right now.

That's probably the most animated i've ever seen Rinapuu i guess she's enjoying herself a lot more lately in the group. They have so much energy and excitement it's always fun to watch them. I imagine working with them daily is a nightmare though because they never seem to let up lol.
