Or one of many to come, if Akimoto's ramblings on the radio are to be trusted. Regarding HKT, Akimoto just seems to want Kashiwagi Yuki in there, which was probably brought about by the closeness of Sashihara and Kashiwagi, as well as the fact that Kashiwagi comes from Kagoshima, which is in the region where HKT is based in.

Akimoto thought more on the lines of wanting to cause a stir by having her in NMB, which is probably to try to get her out of her idol "shell" which she uses as a default image instead of being how she is when she's more relaxed (funny, wacky and random), so I doubt that's going to happen.

 

If I recall though, the other Watanabe (Miyuki) mentioned that she was going to take Yabuki and bring her to NMB (as a joke), which Sashihara for a moment thought was a serious statement, ending with Sashihara feeling depressed for a bit until she realized the joke.

So far 12 girls have been in senabtsu though out all their releases, including two AKB48 b-sides. Don't think this is going to change drastically.

I assume all of the members that are going to be in AKB48's latest single will be in this single's senbatsu.

 

They would be: Sasshi, Sakura, Haruppi, Meru, Mio, Natsu, Moripo, Rabutan, Chihiro, Aoi, Akiyoshi, Yabuki, Nakanishi, Murashige, Kanna, and Tani.

 

The first 9 to me are HKT's version of the "kami-7" though there are 9 of them . So changes to the rest of the members wouldn't surprise me.

I have a feeling some details will be revealed on Saturday when their tour comes to Nagasaki.

 

The next stop on the tour after that isn't until after the single has been released.

On another note; came across a very nice english translation of 桜、みんなで食べた, which read "Everyone, let's eat Sakura-tan!" Though not entirely accurate, at least it's memorable...

I'm a MeruMio oshi so happy they're centers again however I'm a little disappointed since when I saw the title I thought I'd finally gotten my MeruSaku W center. Alas, I shall keep waiting for that beautiful day.

 

At least with this title, it's likely Sakuratan will have a starring role anyway. Will they try to eat her with forks or spoons?

I am very happy seeing Mio in a front-position again, but I hope Okapan can return to the lineup in not too long. Also, Aanya needs to move out of the back (and to the front, of course). Then things will be really good

Looking at the line up again, I very surprised they took Tani out. She's one of the more popular 2nd gen so I thought she'd stay in senbatsu for while. I thought Okapan would stay too since mgmt seems to like her and thought Chori was done for. Pretty much expected Miku and Nako to make it so not much to comment there. Hopefully Nako is in a position where the little sweetheart won't get lost.

Really happy to hear that I'm not the only one who thinks that about Murashige, Krusha

and I was genuinely surprised to see Okapan go, though someone obviously had to in order to make way for the two bits (Miku & Nako)

Have to remind myself often that it's still just their third release, though... Exciting times ahead

 

@LovelyPrincessP: I think Sakura warrants spoons... or something even less crude. Straws?

Looking forward to hearing this song. Mio-ish center is always nice, but my eternal hope for HKT's singles...just an eternal hope for the best, heh.
