The mods for Aither's comments don't seem to like to include comments with too much English in them. Once Misaki asked a question in English, fairly obviously intending for people to respond in English, and I wrote a couple lines in English and mine didn't get accepted! I think this is the case with a lot of idol blogs, but I don't particularly care to test it out. lol

 

As for your questions, I would like answers as well, but I think all we will get is hints. I hope very much to see all of the Aither girls in idol groups again someday, but I worry that they may be scared of entering another group now if they were treated like Yuuka was. I am optimistic that they will try again, but I can't help but worry a little... Only time will tell now.

 

Honestly, I was kind of relieved when they announced that they would be disbanding, as it gave a sense of finality. Things weren't up in the air anymore, and we now know when it'll happen. It makes me sad that the date is approaching so quickly, though...

As Aither's (or should I say Airi's?) final concert draws near, I wanted to share some photos that some of you may not have seen.  Now komorin and I friends on Facebook, plus we talked at Idol Matsuri, so she's probably seen at least one of these photos.  But many of you lurking in this thread ( ) probably haven't.  I got a couple from Chibineko.  They're big, so maybe I'll put them in a spoiler.

Thank you for the translations.  What I'm curious about is this new lineup.  What makes anyone certain the management will treat the new girls right?  They had the perfect trio when this group started and they blew it by mistreating poor Yuuka.  Megumi and Sakura didn't last too long and they quit, followed by Yuuka.  Then Aither became basically an Airi solo with Misaki as a backup dancer.  This new situation drove the two girls apart.  I admittedly lost interest after Yuuka quit, even though I still like Airi and Misaki.  I just don't like what happened to them.

komorin said on Facebook that Misaki is still signed with Deja Vu.  Honestly I don't like that.  This is, after all, the company that mistreated Yuuka and caused three Aither members to leave it.

I think Aither and Deja Vu deserve second chance. If anything they've learned their lesson. If Misaki and Airi are still signed to Deja Vu, then they're probably happy. 
We still don't know exactly what went down with Yuuka. I still support Deja Vu and their members.
I'm excited about the new Aither lineup and for Airi's rock band career! She does give off a nice rocker-girl vibe, she'll be AMAZING imo!
I REALLY hope Misaki is part of the new lineup. (If so, maybe she'll be front girl?)
We'll find out in 7 days!

I'm not sure I'll be supporting a new Aither lineup, if they create one.  I like Misaki, but without Yuuka there really is no Aither for me.  And we still don't know exactly what happened to Megumi either.  She's disappeared from the public eye entirely!

Thanks for still updating this thread and posting here. 

 

I do support the new group, because they should be able to continue doing what they want to do. However I probably won't really follow them. I also got into Aither because of Yuuka (and she's the coolest idol in person). Then my second favorite girl there was Sakura who was really sweet.. and we all know she disappeared even earlier. So there's not much incentive for me to keep up with them.

 

It's a pity, I love their music and their name. Heck their logo looks cool too! What happened after they visited America was all downhill unfortunately :\

With Chibineko's help I found this solo live from Airi.  She sings "INSPIRE", the unreleased Aither song, and another song I've heard before which might be a cover.

Aither's new lineup debuted today. The two members are Himena and Yui. They have said that they plan to search for 3 more members, adding one each month until June, to make a total of 5. Here are some fan-taken pictures from twitter. Yui is on the left in most of these, Himena on the right.

I for one am happy. I'm very happy that Misaki is in a group again, and I'll be able to support her in some way again. Hoping for the best for her.
