This thread is reserved for the discussions of things related to NMB48 Team N in specific, things such as:

• Comments about Team N's history, present, expectancies on the future (conjectures, wishes, etc.)
• Comments on the group's development and performance (especially in the upcoming "pennant race")
• Comments on their theater stages (MCs, performances, songs, birthday lives, etc.)
• Comments on news related to Team N
• Draft Event decisions made by the Team (draftees picked, etc.)

I decided to create the latest threads with the advent of the Pennant Race and how each team will bring forth individual topics for discussion that I think will eventually ask for each teams' individual threads to have a proper place to allow their discussion.

 

I created these 4 threads in advance. I may create the rest eventually. It may take a while though depending on how busy I am. If someone is reading this and decides to create some of the rest, even one, on their own, please do, in fact, that would be great.

It would be a good idea to link each member's own threads in the Members forum on the member name list you provided. Makes it sort of convenient for both newer fans and older fans alike.

 

This will likely impact the amount of discussion in the general NMB thread at the main forum, but I guess team-specific threads can't hurt too much.

It may redirect posts from the general group thread but if you think about it, pretty much every thread that is created apart from the ggt does: single, concerts, members threads, etc. But in the end posts are not lost, just redirected to a more specific thread.

The opening picture is rather weird, IMHO. The style doesn't fit at all... at least I don't associate Team N with "Hot Rods". Maybe we can get a proper group picture showing the members there instead those fan-made logo with strange style? Also the "Team N" text could use the official Team N color ("#FEB501" ?) rather than different colors for each letter.

Just some suggestions.

The pictures I put in each thread are the official logos adopted by each team in the Draft Kaigi/Pennant Race. If they change them, I will change them. A group picture could be added.

That's Team N's flag though, from what I remember seeing at the final draft.

 

But maybe photoshopping the girls portraits in front of the original picture could fix that. I would do it myself if I weren't lazy.

It is the logo of the team, they used it to identify the groups on the selection screen, they may have used it for the flags but I can't remember so I take word on it. It is the group's logo at the moment. They change it, I change it.

Somehow this is rather ugly though, even if it's official then (I didn't see the draft event, neither do I have an idea what the "Pennant Race" is, so I didn't know this flag)


@Morning Death, another suggestion: maybe use the following code instead the long lines with equal signs (that might break into multiple lines or not depending on screen resolution )

I agree it's a pretty ugly banner, dev-null, but I guess it is what it is.

Pennant race doesn't seem to involve any of us, rather we can't do much of anything to support it or help out our favorite team unless we go to Japan and only apply for a certain team. But even if I were to apply, I'd apply for every team to improve my chance of seeing a single team, so I wouldn't be helping anyone in particular. So this pennant race really doesn't mean anything to me.

But there is a good chance I'll use this thread for posts about the Three Baka Sisters. Just saying.

That banner does need to be updated to include Mocha as well, heh.

We who can't participate to help X team win the Pennant Race may feel powerless to affect it's outcome. But it may not be meaningless. Even as spectators it may be very important.

 

Among all the things that remain in the dark for us is: what does a team win when winning the pennant race? This thing ought to be a yearly thing (possible that is why it starts in January), so if that is how it goes down, then yearly we will have a winner and that team will receive some prize, and I bet that prize may be something that benefits the whole group members. It may be something worth watching, worth experiencing. The prize could be something we would like to see our favorite team(s) receiving or being a part of.

 

We need more info and details on this thing.

I was going to edit the other team threads, possibly create another one also, but spent too much time posting in the Watarirouka thread and spent the time I was willing to invest in "forum modification" today. lol

Putting aside the fact the pennant race was a joke just like nearly every other announcement management has made recently that they would prefer we just forget about and act like it never happened, the shuffle will officially take place this week. As a farewell to the amazing Team N, here's their onsen trip from 2012 to remember them by.

This was when Team N was at their best, when times were simpler, Shiokichi, Kanchiru, and Ainyan were still there, Nana hadn't moved to Team M, and concurrency only went one way. Well worth seeing if you never have.
