... an unexplainable reason that is sooooo awesome that maybe no one can understand! Or maybe fan food to keep them with some sort of feeling of control and knowledge about what is going on?

 

It is hard to believe that within the process of taking the picture, looking for it in the cellphone, posting it online, looking at it one more time after posting it, choreographer didn't realize what he/she posted, maybe it was done on purpose. But there are people careless like that I guess. I doubt this is material to get someone fired, right?

 

About the name of the single:

 

I think "Title Pending" is kind of a crappy name for a single. But when I put some thought to it, maybe it allures to Matsui Jurina's long coming shot at having on her shoulder single and complete representation at the "title" of center as she has shared center with other members before in AKB singles. Something like, the "title" of center has been "pending" all this time to arrive at Sweet Juri Juri Baby's hands and it has finally done, thanks to the Janken tournament. It makes sense.

Yeah I am more inclined on the later definitely, it must have been a major f-up or underestimating people getting the participating members out of what was shown in the pic.

EDIT: Well juri was doing amazing but then the next round she sold no slots...I think all the wotas are just drunk.  Actually a lot of girls seem to be going a lot slower this single.  Maybe wotas are getting poor towards the end of the year or are just tired from the 33rd that ended pretty recently?

They want to make this song with that long title something special, raise some eyebrows, material for variety to pick up, make fun of by hosts, etc.

 

Management/composer, bunch of bastards, yeah, let's make a long-ass title, it will be super awesome! Yeah, like they are the ones who have to go in front of TV and pronounce the whole thing. I bet girls will carry a little paper with the thing written on it.

 

Maybe management wants to break another Guinness Record like they did with SKE and all those music videos for their first album:

Also, it seems the record needs to be submitted or asked to be taken into consideration. I found this song which has an even longer title  than AKB's song:

I would like to see how they will fit this song on screen for Request Hour, possibly will cut if off and add suspension points, leaving on evidence how pointless this long title is.

But which words will everyone choose to abbreviate the title, its not going to be as easy as hebirote

So far I've seen it simply abbreviated to "suzukake". Doubt there's much originality to be invested into creating an abbreviation for a long title like this so I see this abbreviation taking off. Normally abbreviations for AKB singles come from 2ch consensus, let us see what comes from there.

 

On my part, I will opt for an individual approach, I'll call this one "Jurina Pwning Time".

And I am proven wrong! Apparently fans have asked Suzuki Mariya herself for permission to dub the janken single after her name: "Suzuki Mariya".

The thing is that someone took key syllables from the lot of words within that long title:

 

"Suzukake no ki no michi de “kimi no hohoemi o yume ni miru’” to itte shimattara bokutachi no kankei wa dou kawatte shimau no ka, boku nari ni nan nichi ka kangaeta ue de no yaya kihazukashii ketsuron no youna mono."

 

and formed her name.

 

Let's see if this one takes off. I like it, it is simple and easy to remember. lol
