 I also thought she was DanbAra, with the A being the strong vocal, and she is DAnbara. Maybe is the most complicated name since Moe Kamikokuryo.

Syllabic emphasis is very unimportant in Japanese pronunciation. If you get the pitch intonation correct and don't really underemphasize anything you're gold. If you do the intonation wrong you're not gold even if you track the minor variation in emphasis.

Though, FWIW, people are pretty kind to me (as an obvious language learner) as far as putting up with my miserable intonation. But they do tease each other about it. *shrug*

I went to the Tower Records event on April 17th and got erally lucky to be really close to the stage. I had my orange penlight and Ruru noticed me!!! Actually, most members did, but since I was a Ruru fan, she kept looking in my direction and smiling at me!! I couldn't say anything at the first handshake, but she went "I saw you!" TT <33  I was further away during the 2nd live, but I managed to say something during the 2nd handshake event! I told her to come to Canada haha She smiled at me but she didn,t have time to say anything I guess I went to the sunshine event as well. Was pretty far for the live, but got a handshake again! Couldn't say anything really again!

 

But she is really pretty and cute And she sings so well!!!! ;w; You can see she is having so much fun on stage! I'm so glad she got in a group! ;;

I was indeed really lucky!! And I was really nervous! I felt like crying during the live because I was so happy! But Ruru just looked at me with such a happy face that I couldn't help but to smile!!

I met a ncie Ruru fan at the second event as well. It seems like Ruru has quite a lot of fans so I'm really happy!!

She's indeed very nice, waving at fans and just having this extremely positive and innocent attitude towards everyone and everything. Very idol-like, and she'll look at you even if you're waving someone else's color (I wave green a lot but she'll still make eye contact with that dorky grin). Release events have ended but met her nearly every day the past week and my impression of her has only improved, she's one of those meant-to-be idols who enjoys every moment and I hope that doesn't fade. At one release event they were giving away signed posters at random for each CD purchase so got her sign on the Sexy Sexy poster as well (also Aari's and Yanamin's twice).

Two of the SPLASH girls were wearing 2017 Juice=Juice Budokan shirts. How nice of them to support Ruru by coming to Tokyo last year!

Since she was in Horoshima, she celebrated an early birthday with her family, including her mother's home-made cake (which she makes every year).
