There's really no hobby I enjoy more than music. As such, I'm incredibly nosy when it comes to the musical interests of personalities from other interests I have. So I thought I'd start a thread to hopefully chronicle the musical tastes of 48G members.

 

Some are more open and share more, but I'd be interested to hear about some namedrops about music they're currently enjoying, have enjoyed, or grew up listening to. What I can gather together to start is from memory, so it's pretty limited, but I hope others have noticed some mentions. This doesn't necessarily represent their favorites, just what they enjoy listening to.

I also think Minegishi likes MM and Kojiharu definitely does(Sayu is her oshimen).

Matsui Rena has been talking about babyraids a lot lately, even went to their release event on Tuesday. She also talks a lot about Charan Po Rantan.

She often talks about music she likes on g+ and blog, but right now other than those I can only remember her mentioning Ebichuu few days ago.

I was curious about Rena since I got the feeling she shared her tastes fairly frequently, but I'm hit or miss in catching her g+ and I only remember Quruli because it surprised me a little and it was the only time I was able to comment on one of her posts, haha.

She has said, can't remember where, that she listens to Green Day. I think this one was passed down from her brother.

 

The other weeks she said she was watching Morning Musume stuff.

 

There was this picture from a magazine in which she was wearing headphones and it said something like: "Now playing: Metallica - Master of Puppets". Not sure if that was just put there.

 

Can;t remember where, but I think I read somewhere or saw somewhere that she listens to Man With A Mission.

 

I think this is it for Rena from me, for now.

Paruru: Saw her wearing a Metallica - An Justice for All t-shirt. Unless she bought it thinking it was some English stylish t-shirt she may listen to them, or used to, don't know.

 

Likewise, Sashihara was wearing a KISS t-shirt. That one could have been a mistake, maybe bought just for the word "kiss".

 

I may contribute a little more in the future once I put more energy unto the matter.

I'm going to hold off adding band shirts since there's a distinct possibility they're wearing them as fashion, especially in regards to iconic bands like Metallica, KISS, Misfits, Ramones that are often worn as fashion. I'll certainly add them if they mention listening to them. I've seen Sato Sumire in a KISS shirt (or long shirt dress thing? can't remember) recently as well.

Well, you gotta start somewhere and with Nu Metal gone, Metalcore appears to be the new drug-way. There are some great Metalcore bands anyways. But Necrophagist, that's a pretty freaking awesome band. Someone ought to recommend her some Arsis and Quo Vadis if she doesn't listen to them already.

OMFG, now that you mention it, Rena also said she likes The Beatles.

 

I looked this info up and realized she didn't like Green Day, it is Blink 182. lol I confused them. ^^' Here is the info from her Japanese Wikipedia:

Oi, Morning Death, blink-182 and Green Day are completely different. Though I've found if you like one, you probably like the other, haha.
