The first anime i watched on the internet was lucky star

My first anime was either Yu-Gi-Oh! or Pokemon. I discovered both around the same time, so I don't remember which one I started watching first. Although, it could've actually been DBZ since my dad's a pretty big fan of it, and I wouldn't be surprised if he made me watch it with him when I was a baby.

Dragonball Z. If I missed an episode I'd freak the hell out

15 or so years later and it's still my all time favourite. I don't really watch anime anymore, but I have all the DBZ box sets and still watch them pretty often.

Although Dragonball Z Abridged has kinda ruined it for me... I now can't stop thinking of the Abridged version when I watch it

Sailor Moon, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Digimon all aired on weekday mornings before I went to school in elementary school so pretty much those four

Pokemon, I used to watch it religiously before school when I was five until I was 14 And then I'd watch Naruto after dinner (until it stopped airing because it was "too violent"  ) 

 

Other that that my other first anime's were Digimon, Tokyo Mew Mew, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Dragon Ball Z

First I ever watched: Probably Speed Racer. First that ever made me sit up and take notice: Space Battleship Yamato. First that ever knocked my socks off: Akira.

my first anime : digimon adventure

Mm.. probably Speed Racer (My Dad LOVED that show so I was sorta forced watched it) / Or Pokemon, I know that was for sure the first anime I knew was an anime when I started

I remember distinctly seeing Space pirate captain Harlock when I was a kid around 9-10. 

But  Neon Genesis Evangelion was the first anime I watched. Totally blew my then 24 year old mind

First anime that I remember is Doraemon but with local dub.... 

Watched it on TV since kindergarten...

 

For a real CD, more accurately VCD is Digimon... 

Watched it after father buy it randomly...

 

First anime that I watch concerning I really know the meaning and I really finished watching all episodes is AKB0048 that finished in 2013

It also the first anime I watch on internet though...

 

Other anime I had watch are all on TV or VCD...

Detective Conan (Malay dub), Sailor Moon (Ori voice, Malay sub), Crayon Shin Chan (Malay dub), Magic Kaito (Malay dub), Chibi Maruko Chan (Malay dub), Naruto (Malay dub) and a lots more! 

 

Anime currently airing in Malaysia (on free-to-air television) are:

- Doraemon (NTV7, every Saturday, 7:30PM)

- Crayon Shin Chan (NTV7, every Saturday, 7:00PM)

- Detective Conan (TV3, every Saturday 10:00AM) - sometimes airing Magic Kaito for unknown reason 

- Naruto Shippuden (TV3, every Friday, 7:00PM)

- Fairy Tail (NTV7, every Sunday 10:30AM and repeat every Thursday, 7:30PM)

I can't list out all...  I only list out whichever I know and I watch now...

I only can watch free-to-air TV because satellite TV provided by Astro is expensive...

People who have Astro can watch 24/7 of anime on Animax channel if they subscribe to a suitable Astro package...

Pokemon I guess would be the first, I was really into that and Digimon,  the first anime I watched and that lead me to seeing anime as its own thing and something that can have merits was Cowboy Bebop, and the first anime I watched getting back into anime in high school was Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt

On TV, when I didn't know about the word 'anime', I've watched; 

Pokémon, Digimon, Shin chan, all those stuff on Fox Kids.

 

Later, when I knew about this culture (2006);

Spirited Away and Fullmetal Alchemist.
