Just wondering .. cos I just realize ..
Is it possible that the good sales is result of fans who preordered single early thinking that the request hour voting ticket is in it ..
but by the time they realize that its not on this single .. its either too late or they can't cancel ... ?

Too hard to tell. You can say maybe, maybe not. And that's about it.

here's a quote from Hitokage at stage on sales comparisons:

Soundscan figures:
Limited editions
Type A: 79,157
Type B: 62,975
Type K: 61,435
Type 4: 39,576
Total: 243,143
UZA Limited editions 1st week: 291,979
KFC Limited editions 1st week: 353,660

Regular editions
Type A: 19,736
Type B: 16,592 (Soundscan put this as Type A, so there's 2 regular Type A which I believe it's typo)
Type K: 15,622
Type 4: 11,666
Total: 63,616
UZA Regular editions 1st week: 106,440
KFC Regular editions 1st week: 85,469

Oricon vs Soundscan 1st week
UZA: 1,129,000 - 398,419
KFC: 1,330,000 - 439,129
HE: 1,204,000 - 306,759

730581

890871

897241

^As far as I understand, the difference in Oricon and Soundscan is the handshakes so you can see how much they have increased.

I didn't come to that conclusion myself, it was just what was said.  Seems reasonable to me though.  I don't know japanese either  :itadakimasu:

^ok :)

basically .. I also wonder why can't any of us just go Japan and set up our own chart ..
just demand the figures from every shop or seller and manufacturer .. and they will give it to us ... right?
I mean if they don't .. we got to ask why Oricon and soundscan can get the info and we can't .. right?

^ .. oh .. does that mean in summary .. they don't include special version that is only sold in 1 area ..
like those HMV versions or mu-mo versions from idol street which only 1 seller have it .. ?

Wait, they sold over a 30,000 more so far after release?! That is freaking impressive. o.O It must be the work of later promo appearances or something.

But I have to admit I am bad at numbers and can't recall if this is usual AKB sells for singles entering later weeks though. XD But considering that that is more than what other idol groups would wish to sell first week, to me is impressive. XD

^ Well it's the other way around actually. They haven't had so poor 2nd week since "Sakura no Shiori". And that's was more than 3 and half years ago before million sellers era.*

*) Ok for truth sake Uchida 2010 janken single 2nd week clocked also around 30k, but Heart Ereki is not Janken single

I recently became very addicted to the titular track of this single. I don't even know why. It's just been like an earworm for me. The only way I found to get around it was a 2nd earworm (Let it Go from Frozen).
